Students interested in creating a team for Imagine Tomorrow, the alternative energy fair at Washington

State University, need to come to a meeting TODAY in Mrs. Faxon’s room (405) afterschool. Cash prizes for winning teams at the competition and a free weekend in the dorms at WSU. See you at the meeting!

Students--do you know that if you are receiving “free or reduced “ lunches that you are also able to have free breakfast? Yes, FREE! But, even the price of $1.50 for anyone, is a great way to start your brain for the day. Come on in, check it out and give it a try!

 Here’s an excellent opportunity for college bound Juniors: The SAT Prep Class is a 12 week course that helps students optimize scores on this very important college entrance test. Last year students increased their SAT scores by an average of 110 points, as a result of taking this class. Classes are held after school on Wednesdays and are taught by Prep Northwest, a professional test preparation organization. The cost of this course is $45 and you can receive a refund of this fee if you have outstanding attendance. Signups start now, on a first-come first-served basis and the course will begin January 25th. Pick up a registration form in the Counseling Office.

Colonel’s Scholarship applications are now available online. To qualify, you must have a minimum GPA of

2.75, enroll in a public college or university within Washington, plan on pursuing a bachelor’s degree, and demonstrate financial need. Go to www.kfcscholars.org or pick up information in the Career Center!
