efficiencies. Provide hands on work in product development, including design corrective action management.
 Worked with 194R team industrializing new product. This included lowest cost plant analysis, failure mode
effect analysis (FMEA), design scorecard, material cost analysis, capacity analysis and supplier risks and
design of experiments work. This resulted in having a patent pending for on the 194R product design.
 Managed product design Tools, Templates and Training Committee. Including corrective action issue
resolution to Design Templates like Lessons Learned and Phase Deliverable Checklist.
 Hired and managed contractors to support Restriction of Hazardous Substances transition offsetting the high
cost of the engineering department capacity. Collaborated with engineering teams that reduced printed circuit
material cost on average by 9% or projected $2.8M of expense reduction.
 Led cross functional team of engineers reducing the Component Engineering Group response lead time from
28 days to 12 days for new product development.
 Collaborated with Doc-n-Box program saving $1.3 million by reducing printed manuals.
 Drove best practices into Green Belt “Blended Learning” training program. This resulted in a higher success
rate of competent trainees and reduced project completion time.

Project Manager driving Lean Six Sigma projects in $300M global business unit supporting remanufacturing, field
service, marketing, quoting and contracts.
 Initiated and drove remanufacturing lead time reduction from 70 days to 21 days and eliminated repair of
excess inventory resulting in over $3M hard savings. Work included project charter development, team
formation, material forecast analysis, change management, and resultant factory capacity reduction analysis.

 Improved jet engine rotor blade manufacturing by implementing a laser measurement device. This resulted in
reduced labor and engine test failures that saved over $200k. The jet engine blades were being cut to size with
a lath and dial indicator. The new laser system was developed by me and my team. We purchased a laser for
$15K, developed a fixture and software with internal resources in less than three months. Equivalent systems
