Announcements

This week is CCA Spirit Week! What does this mean? We can show off
how much we love our school by doing cool things each day. This is the
weeks agenda:
Monday- Sports Day
Tuesday- Superhero or character Day
Wednesday- Twin /Triplet Day
Thursday- Decades Day – (50-90’s styles)
Friday- CCA Apparel Day or CCA colors (Blue and
white)
HAVE FUN PLANNING THE WEEK.

Spirit Week will end with the grand finale of our 1st ever Homecoming
Event on Friday. Activities will begin at 5pm. See Friday fun facts for
details of these activities. We will see our very first king and queen
crowned, watch the high school teams play their games against Fredrick,
participate in halftime games, drawings, and end the evening with a
movie. Come join us for all or some of the evening. It will be a blast!

We will be celebrating the achievements of the third
grade for the first half of the year on Friday right after
sing time around 8:25ish. We would love for family to
join us as we celebrate the students’ hard work with
awards, donuts, and juice. This will be approximately a
half an hour.

The class will be starting to use cursive writing in all subject areas at a
slow rate. The spelling test this week will be written in BOTH print and
cursive. We will do this 3 weeks. I will be grading
only the print and looking at the cursive and noting
any issues in the form of their letters, so when they
are writing only in cursive they will be ready after
working on their problem areas. Encourage them as
I will too, to take care in every letter. Keep up the
great writing.

We will be having a Valentine’s Day party on Feb.
13th. The class has option of giving valentines to their
classmates if they would like. In blue folders is a class
list for help with valentines. I have asked for parent
help with some snacks. Thanks in advance.
