What is life like in a British town? What is it like to live in a really famous street? In this assignment you
are going to find out more about two really famous British streets. You are also going to do some
'virtual' travelling by public transport and you're going to have a look at a few websites of well-known
British shops.
Assignment 1: Famous streets
Perhaps one of the most famous streets in Great Britain is Coronation Street. Read the questions and
answer them in English. Write down the URL (= Internet address) of the website where you found the
information.
A good place to start your research is http://www.google.co.uk, but you can also use another search
