One week after sending the letters, you need to call each business, get a contact name, and begin communicating with each business. Reno ** = Partner in Education Fees 2 and under free $2 for children - 12 and under $5 for adults -13 and older $3 for students with ID $ 3 for Seniors - 55 and older ** With two cans of food, adults can get in for kids price!** Tickets 4 for $1 25 for $5 50 for $10 Wristband (UNLIMITED activities) for $20 Booths We are asking our businesses to hold “carnival-like” activities for children. (See below for booth ideas) Remember that you are in charge of communicating with your businesses, creating a booth activity, collecting their money, etc. You need to be flexible with each business’s requests, but DO NOT promise a business anything without speaking to the club first! When you contact your business, you need to let them know verbally that there are levels of sponsorship. Here are the levels of sponsorship: Bronze sponsorship- $75. Includes small booth and name as a bronze sponsor. Silver sponsorship- $100 Includes medium booth and name as a silver sponsor. Gold sponsorship- $125 Includes large booth, name as a gold sponsor, and one volunteer supplied by us Platinum sponsorship- $150 Includes extra large booth, name as a platinum sponsor, special recognition at event, and two volunteers supplied by us. (Recommended for our Partners in Education and the larger businesses- be careful with this because we don't have tons of people to supply to volunteer!) Booths for Galena clubs will also be available, but these will be planned once school starts. We will charge $10-$20 for a club booth. Games/Activities: Here are some game ideas. If you have others, (which I’m sure you do, let me know via email so when businesses ask what type of activities they can have I can give them an idea.) Temporary tattoos Face painting Bean bag toss Goldfish game (win goldfish) – put on by us since we’re having the goldfish donated hopefully Pumpkin games with lollipops Pie Eating Contest Activities put on by Key Club: Dunk tank Costume contest Cake walk Bounce house Silent Auction Food We are hoping Texas Roadhouse, Jimmy John’s, and Jamba Juice will have booths at our festival. We are being open to any agreement the food places wish to make. (Split profits 50/50, 60/40, etc) UNICEF Boxes will be everywhere at the event! Make sure to advertise this to your businesses since UNICEF is a very well-known organization. Candy Check Station Ally is in charge of organizing a candy check station with Kiwanis. We are hoping they can be at the event to make it safe trick-or-treating! Raffle Key Club CANNOT do a raffle, but Kiwanis can, so we again need to speak with them about this! If not, we have said we are doing a Silent Auction.
