you will receive a 5% deduction of your final grade. If you have perfect attendance and
are borderline between a C- and a C+, the higher grade may be yours. If you have a
legitimate excuse for not attending class, that will not count against you.


Quizzes are random and unannounced. Being we have class once/week the odds
of having a quiz are in your favor. There are NO make-ups for missed quizzes.
Make up examinations will be arranged only for unusual circumstances and
with prior permission. If you know ahead of time that you will be missing a
scheduled exam, you need to let Dr. Mike know prior to the exam, even if it is
on the day of the scheduled exam.
If you do not let me know, you can’t make up the exam.
* Cheating/ Plagarism NO!!!
If caught, you will receive a “0” for that assignment.
Collaborating with other students is part of learning and will be tolerated on certain
assignments - you must also do your own work. Anyone caught cheating will receive a
zero on the assignment/exam/quiz etc. The student will be disciplined as per the
“Violations of Code of Academic Honesty” in the student Handbook.
