Reminders:
Please see the following message from Revd Canon Chancellor Pam Powell –
“Mike Powell – RIP - Jamie, Katie and I would just like to thank so many of you for your
prayers and support over the last few months. Mike was taken into Shrewsbury hospital,
transferred to Gobowen and spent his final five weeks in the Severn Hospice. Throughout
this time we were held in prayer across the Diocese and were supported by visits and
regular Eucharists. Mike’s death was a good one in the way that it was not too prolonged,
he spoke to us until the last day, we were with him and his faith took away all fear. It was
very peaceful. Again, during the period leading up to the funeral we were supported and
that still continues. Thanks again and every blessing.”
