HIGHLIGHTS

Gender activist, specifically for Gender Based Violence. I serve on the Gender forums for Mogale
City, Gauteng Premiers office and Minister Susan Shabangu's 16 Days of Activism Campaign.

I was one of the main judges at the Genderlink’s National Summit in April 2014 and judged
seven different categories for Gender Mainstreaming.

I served on the expert panel at Monash University in May 2014, for their Intersections
presentation of “Conversations with Women” to discuss and engage on topics related to
discrimination, dis-empowerment, liberation and empowerment of women.

I have developed a nationwide action plan to bridge the gap between Government and Civil
society with a holistic approach for the empowerment of victims of GBV, This contributed
toward me winning the OVERALL LEADERSHIP AWARD at the Mogale City’s Women of Worth
2014 Awards.

I have written an Interactive Self Help Book which I have been using since 2009 in my Inner Healing / Life Skills
group, with great success. This book is my intellectual property and I am willing to use it wherever it is needed.

I was invited to contribute at the Gauteng Strategic Policy Review Meeting with the Premier's
office in October 2014 for Gender Equality and Women Empowerment.

