SECTION 09901 RUNWAY AND TAXIWAY MARKINGS Part 1.00 SCOPE (1) Remove rubber from existing runway centerlines and paint centerlines on Runway 4-22. Work will include removing the existing rubber deposits from runway centerline and painting the centerlines on Runway 4-22. The runway centerlines are white (with beads) and are 120 feet long and 36 inches wide. ** Please refer to AC 150/5340-1K for runway and taxiway centerline design. (2) Install runway centerline markings on Runway 16-34. Work will include the painting of the centerlines on Runway 16-34. Runway 16-34 is 5,200 feet in length. The runway centerlines are white (with beads) and are 120 feet long and 36 inches wide. **See picture for previous work for design. (3) Remove existing and reinstall taxiway centerline markings on Taxiways “A” and “B”. Work will include the removal and the reinstallation of the taxiway centerline markings on Taxiway “A” and Taxiway “B”. These taxiways run parallel to the airport’s two (2) runways and are 75 feet in width. Runway 4-22 is 6,601 feet long and runway 16-34 is 5,200 feet long. The taxiway centerlines consist of one (1) yellow line and is bordered by two (2) black lines (or enhanced). Each centerline is six (6) inches wide, for a total of eighteen (18) inches, and runs the length of the taxiway. (4) Remove existing taxiway centerline from the approach end of Runway 16. The marking is 18 inches wide and 200 feet in length. Work will include the complete removal of existing taxiway centerline on Runway 16. (5) Remove existing and reinstall centerlines at the intersection of Taxiways “A” and “C” to the hold bar for Runway 4-22. Work will include the removal and the reinstallation of the taxiway centerline markings at the intersection of Taxiways “A” and ”C” to the hold bar at Runway 4-22. There are a total of six (6) lines that intersect at that intersection for a total of about 1,000 feet. The taxiway centerlines consist of one (1) yellow line and is bordered by two (2) black lines (or enhanced). Each centerline is six (6) inches wide, for a total of eighteen (18) inches, and runs the length of the taxiway. (6) Remove existing and reinstall centerlines at the intersection of Taxiway “A” and “H” to the Air Cargo (UPS) ramp. Work will include the removal and the reinstallation of taxiway centerline markings at the intersection of Taxiways “A” and “C” to the Air Cargo ramp. The total yardage is about 1,000 feet. The taxiway centerlines consist of one (1) yellow line and is bordered by two (2) black lines (or enhanced). Each centerline is six (6) inches wide, for a total of eighteen (18) inches, and runs the length of the taxiway. (7) Remove parts of existing enhanced runway holding position marking on taxiway near the runway. Work will include the removal of two (2) dashes and borders from an enhanced runway holding position marking at the approach end of Runway 16 at Taxiway “B”.
