Annual calendar of events
CFA Emirates, the local society of CFA Institute in the UAE, has been continuing to work hard to ensure the
society has access to a range of events, services and speakers to keep all of you up-to-date on a wide range of
current practices within the investment profession, providing opportunity to network and to promote CFA
program, helping the local industry grow and prosper.

In addition to all the above activities, CFA Society has also undertaken a wider media engagement programme
to promote the work of the society both here in the UAE and with CFA Institute around the region. In the past
year, representatives of CFA Institute and CFA Emirates have met and undertaken interviews with a host of
local and regional media including The National, Emirates Business 24/7, Dubai Eye 103.2 business breakfast,
Money Works, CNBC Arabia, Al Jazeerah, MEED, Arabian Business and Al Bayan creating a significant increase
in the amount of media coverage we have been able to achieve, helping to raise the understanding and the
profile of the Society.
As we look to the year ahead, CFA Emirates looks forward to your usual active involvement with your society
either in form of participation in its events or by volunteering to support its activities.
