You are to have a short Biography with 3 small photos of the artist's Constructions across the lower half of the page. USE ONE PAGE FOR EACH ARTIST!! Type your name & class period in the upper right hand corner of each page -- won't get lost at printer The Header (Title): Artist’s First & Last Name Font: ARIAL Size: 20 Centered & Underlined The body of the rest of each page should be Font: ARIAL Size: 12 or 14 - (whatever fits better) Goal: Two artists’ bios per day completed & printed. Type a Title Page: " Famous Artists of Constructions" Font: ARIAL Size: 36 or 48 ( whatever fits better) by: your name, 3-D Art & Class period - 4 lines centered, but spread from top to bottom of your page Title Page & all 12 artists’ pages need to be in the same order as on the directions page, punched, & put into a folder for final presentation. 2 Directions for Research: 1. Open "Word" and then minimize onto your bottom bar 2. Get on the Internet: google.com, etc. 3. Type in Artist’s name – web search 4. Find Artist’s Biography. Highlight important info, Copy & Paste to “Word” document as you skim Read. 5. Include the list of information below: Born - Died & Nationality (Country) Influenced by: history (like a war), famous artist mentor? Who did He/She influence? (Students? Time period? Culture?) What is the Main Media used in most of the artist’s works? Created a new Style? Or "Father of ……" ? If so, include: Style name & list the main characteristics 6. The Artist’s Bio should be 1 /2 page typed maximum Font: ARIAL Size: 12 or 14 7. After Bio, go back to google.com & click on Images 8. Search for Artist's Name or Title of Construction – you should get many pictures to choose from. Keep the photos small so they fit across the bottom of your page. 9. Some are required images-- some you get to pick - check each Artist's listing on next page. 10.
