fossils, photos, and music. A secondary source is something that analyzes and interprets the primary
source. This would include textbooks, biographies, or academic journals.

and veggies). Prehistoric peoples were hunters and gatherers.

favorite rule and include it in your description. Hammurabi’s Code was the first uniform law code. However, it
was not equal for everyone. Punishments depended on class. For instance, the upper class could pay
money to the lower classes, versus lower class if caught stealing, the hand would be cut off. Eye for an
eye, tooth for a tooth is the most popular/well known law.
11. What was the political impact of Hammurabi’s law code?
The political impact of Hammurabi’s Code was that no matter what city you lived in during the Babylon
Empire, you had to follow the same laws.

The Ten Commandments were the moral expectations given to Moses and the Jewish people. They were
religious laws and expectations of behavior.
13. What was the moral impact of the Ten Commandments?
They forbade stealing, blasphemy, committing adultery and jealousy/greed of other peoples stuff.
