Note that you need to read and review the laboratory exercises before attending the laboratory sessions! 533572002 METROPOLIA Local Area Networks, CCNA 1 Page 3(3) The on-line assessments logon times are as follows: Assessments logon period times will be according to the week time schedule as follows: 1. Monday to Sunday from 00:00 to 23:59. 2. Note! The assessments are opened in the order listed in the table above. Each week assessments must be completed during that week! If you miss a week assessment you have a chance to complete them on the week 13. During week 13 all assessments are opened so you can do the missing ones. When a student activates an assessment, it will be active for two hours. The activated assessment must be completed within these two hours. It is possible to retake the completed assessment three times. If a student does not complete assessments by the final exam, the points are reduced. Final lab exam, max. points: The 1st try passed = 150 points, the 2nd try passed = 120 points, the 3th try passed = 90 points (= max. three tries). If a student doesn’t come to the before booked lab exam session, this is counted as a failed lab exam. To pass the final theory exam you have to score at least 50% out of 100% in the Cisco Gradebook. If you don’t meet this rule, you have chance to resit the final exam. In case of resit exam your points will be reduced by 15% out of the result in the Cisco Gradebook. Example: In the resit final exam you have scored 50% in the Cisco Gradebook. Your points to the final course results will be 2 x (50-15) = 70 points. Every work pair will do and submit their own workbook. Case Study is done in pairs of two students. Case contains the exercise 11.5.6. More information about the Case Study, see the document ‘Supplement to the CCNA1 Case Study’. Workbook and Case Study must be returned in paper format on exam week, latest on Thursday 27th of May at 4 pm. The penalty will be 10 % a week for the material handed after this deadline.
