Mr J W W Julius (Gauteng: DA) to ask the Minister of Small Business Development:
Whether her department is providing any assistance to any small businesses in the West Rand
communities in Gauteng; if not, what is the position in this regard; if so, (a) to how many small
businesses in the (i) 2013-14, (ii) 2014-15 and (iii) 2015-16 financial years (b) what are the (i)
names and (ii) contact details of these businesses and (c) what are the full details of the

REPLY:
The Department of Small Business Development provides financial and non-financial business
support services through the Small Enterprise Development Agency (Seda) and the Small
Enterprise Finance Agency (sefa).
The Small Enterprise Development Agency assisted small businesses in the West Rand
communities of Gauteng as follows:
