Capacitar How Capacitar works Healing Ourselves, Healing Our World Capacitar uses a popular education approach to healing which can complement medical treatment or psychotherapy. In many places where Capacitar works, people have few resources and little access to medical or therapeutic services. Capacitar trains leaders who in turn train others, thus multiplying the impact of the work. Capacitar uses simple practices of healing, team building and self-development to awaken people to their own source of strength and wisdom so they can reach out to heal injustice and create a more peaceful world. Capacitar connects people from community/grassroots organisations through an international network of solidarity, building relationships of cultural and personal understanding.
