POSITION PURPOSE: ShopperTrak mission is to provide best-in-class, multi-channel
integrated marketing solutions created to drive results against subsidiary marketing
objectives. In this role, the Marketing Manager is responsible for executing and
implementing an annual integrated communications strategy and campaign platform
supporting the ShopperTrak retail, mall and channel business. In this capacity, the Manager
will be tasked with executing and delivering integrated marketing plans aligned against
business priorities, revenue goals and customer satisfaction metrics as a component of the
overall global marketing plan. The position will be part of the global marketing team and be
based in the Shenzhen, China.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
The Regional Marketing Manager position is critical as they will be the main contact for all
marketing activity in that region. This role will be focused on the execution of the global
marketing plan and be accountable to localize the directed activities and initiatives. The
position will require a person who can work independently as well as part of a team and
coordinate their activities with their team based in Chicago, IL.
Specific responsibilities include:
Lead Generation & Awareness







Executing and delivering the yearly Asia/China marketing plan that is defined as a part of
the overall global marketing plan - defining key markets within specific
regions. Leverage all regional activity where possible. Must deliver maximum business
value, e.g. number and quality of leads, within given budget. Execution must align with
and support Asia/China strategy, corporate marketing plans, and Asia/China sales targets.
Managing and executing Asia/China strategic programs
Asia/China lead/demand generation, PR, awareness and social media campaigns
Managing Asia/China events leveraging central themes, messaging, brand identity,
content, partners and presenters across multiple Asia/China locations
Develop key customer and partner forums and user groups
Driving customer reference program, case studies and press releases
Driving and managing the regional PR agencies (relationships and activities) - in
accordance to budget, strategy and execution

 Implementing a channel marketing strategy for all Asia/China Partners

Building strong relationships with regional Sales Managers and ensuring
excellent team communication on all plans, activities and events
Communicating plans and program results to key stakeholders regularly.
Share key metrics and recommendations to become a more metrics-driven
marketing organization

Delivering consistency of messaging across all activities and campaigns,
strengthening and enhancing the ShopperTrak brand within and on all marketing
materials and programs
Ensuring message consistency of all translated material (corporate websites,
strategic collaterals, case studies, press releases etc)
Tracking and measuring all campaigns and activities for reporting
Managing Asia/China marketing budget including monthly, quarterly, yearly
accruals and reporting to manager & finance.

Language Requirements: • Fluent in English & Mandarin, Chinese.
Travel Requirements: • As this is a Asia/China role travel will be required
regularly, this includes marketing events, planning meetings and sales meetings –
travel time will be split 50/50
Educational Requirements







A degree in marketing or communications preferred – or equivalent experience.
5 + years marketing experience. Prior Asia/China marketing experience preferred.
Must have the ability to think strategically as well as execute.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environment –
remaining flexible to changing deadlines and situations.
Ability to manage projects and programs in a cross-functional, geographically
dispersed environment.
Ability to develop and foster a culture of teamwork.
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong familiarity with sales force
automation and marketing automation software preferred.
