ENGINEERING SUMMER STUDENTS JOB POSTING 2011
Perpetual Energy Inc. is an independent energy company producing primarily natural
gas with growing volumes of oil and liquids from properties in Alberta, Canada. PEI
launched on July 1, 2010 through the corporate conversion of Paramount Energy Trust,
a royalty trust with a seven year history as a premium-yielding investment in the Royalty
Trust sector. Perpetual’s head office is in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and field offices in
Athabasca, Drayton Valley and Viking, Alberta, Canada.
Perpetual Energy Inc. is looking for four mature, energetic, motivated and self-directed
students who have completed a minimum of 1st or 2nd year studies in Engineering.
Perpetual has identified 2 locations that require 2 engineering summer students each for
approximately 4 months, starting in approximately May 2011 to August 2011. Each of
the four successful candidates will be responsible for basic lease maintenance, well
inspections, inventory, and relief operating. Each of these positions will work under the
direct supervision of the senior foreman and each student will be expected to present
his/her work at the end of the work term.
You will be required to attend mandatory Safety Training prior to commencing work.
Mechanical experience is an asset.
Location #1 (2 students): Athabasca/Slave Lake, Alberta Area
Location #2 (2 students): Camrose, Alberta Area

and from the field office and must find his/her own accommodations and must pay for
those expenses.
