Terms of Reference
Overview
The Cornwall and IOS Drug & Alcohol Action Team (DAAT) is the partnership
responsible for setting the local strategy and implementing both the National
Drugs Strategy and the National Alcohol Strategy. HALO is the case
management system in which all drug and alcohol treatment activity is
recorded and monitored.
Purpose
The HALO data quality board will monitor the quality of data recorded by
drug and alcohol treatment providers in CIOS for performance and reporting
purposes.
Role of the Board
o The board will approve/reject any change requests to HALO
o The board will agree how to record and monitor performance
including KPIs
o The board will discuss any changes necessary to increase the
effectiveness use of halo for monitoring and performance reporting
purposes
o To ensure data recorded is at a quality level approved by the NDTMS
o The board members will share ongoing and new work so there is no
duplication
o The Board will be responsible for overseeing Information governance
on behalf of the DAAT
