The principal objective of ECON 314 is to introduce students to the
basic concepts and models used in international macroeconomics.
To develop an understanding of modern macroeconomic theory.
To learn the basic models of modern international (open economy)
macroeconomics.

To learn how to apply the basic models and concepts to explain the
