Pathways General Education Opt‐in Worksheet Name: __________________________________________ EMPLID/Last 4 of SS#: _______________________________ First Term at CSI: _______________________________ Intended/Declared Major: ____________________________ This worksheet provides continuing CSI students with details regarding the completion of their degree requirements if they were to Opt‐in to Pathways or, via the Internal Transfer process, are required to follow the Pathways Structure. The following pages list all courses currently included in CSI’s Pathways General Education model. PLEASE NOTE‐Several courses in the Pathways framework are still under review. Courses may be added, moved to different categories, or removed. Please use this as a general guide. Each course falls into a specific requirement “bucket.” To use this worksheet and determine how your coursework fits in the Pathways framework, follow these steps: (You may also attend a What‐If Audit Session to assist you in this process.) (1) Using the “Find” function, select all courses you have already completed or are enrolled in this term. PLEASE NOTE: Not all courses in our current GE, such as PED 190, are included in the Pathways model and will not be found on this worksheet. (2) Review each requirement bucket and mark off the subject headings for completed areas. Some areas may mark themselves as completed automatically. For example, Science Lab courses will be automatically marked when you select the Lecture course, so marking BIO 106 in Life & Physical Sciences will automatically mark BIO 107 in the College Option. (3) If you have more than one course fall into a particular bucket, you may be able to use one of those courses to satisfy a different requirement bucket. To rearrange courses, simply un‐mark the box of the course you wish to move, and re‐mark it in the second bucket. (4) Ask an advisor to review your completed worksheet by emailing it to advisement@csi.cuny.edu. (5) If you wish to Opt‐in to Pathways, complete the CSI Pathways Opt‐In Contract. PATHWAYS General Education Requirements Completed: DO NOT MARK ANY REQUIREMENTS IN THIS AREA. IT WILL POPULATE AS YOU COMPLETE PAGES 2‐4.
