Your child will need a graphing calculator for use throughout his/her four years at Stanton. The most commonly used calculators are the Texas instrument ti-83 or ti-84. While the student can use any type of graphing calculator, the teachers use a ti-84 in class, so it is advantageous for the student to use the same type. A non-graphing scientific calculator is also strongly recommended since graphing calculators are not permitted during an exam.
