Medication Aide / Tech
This course covers the basic preparation for
administration of medications by unlicensed
persons in a variety of settings.
The course is designed to prepare the student to
assume the role and responsibilities of the
Medication Aide and to prepare the student to take
the competency testing required for listing as a
Medication Aide in the State of North Carolina.
**Pre-Requisites for Med Aide: A high school diploma or
equivalent. NA-I. No pre-requisites for Med Tech.
Requirement: Students must complete all classes (20
hours—Med Tech and 24 hours-Med Aide) in order
to successfully complete the course.
