A taste for
innovation
Take our Freshline® brand of liquid nitrogen freezing systems. They
allow food processors to chill and freeze everything from shrimp and
chicken to baked goods, fruits and vegetables, and ice cream. We’re
making it easier for our customers to deliver real taste and variety,
right to the table.
This is one of many innovative applications for our gas products. We
supply oxygen, nitrogen, argon, helium, hydrogen, and medical and
specialty gases to many customers. And on-site generators to others.

A material
advantage
Shoes, TVs, and cars may appear to have little in common. But there is
a connection—our chemicals expertise.
Our knowledge in chemical synthesis, analytical technology, process
engineering, and surface science offers material solutions for a broad
range of industries. So we supply gases, chemicals, and equipment for
semiconductors, TVs, and cell phones. And performance materials for
the polyurethane soles on shoes and that glossy finish on sports cars.

We’re doing our part for the environment in many ways. That includes
cleaner fuels for today’s cars and a new fuel source for tomorrow’s.
We make huge quantities of hydrogen for petroleum refiners to lower
the sulfur content of their gasoline and diesel fuels. This lets them
meet clean air regulations. We’re also a leader in hydrogen fueling
infrastructures, helping to build the hydrogen economy of the future.
We’ve long been the main player in another clean fuel area, liquefied
natural gas (LNG). And we remain a global leader in air separation
plants, hydrocarbon recovery and purification equipment, and helium
distribution equipment.

Our medical gases are used, at required purities, in a variety of
settings and facilities. Since 1947, Air Products has provided medical
oxygen to hospitals, and we are the largest North American
leader in the supplier of helium and nitrogen services for MRI
(magnetic resonance imaging).
Our main objective is to offer solutions that meet the needs of
healthcare providers and their patients - quickly, effectively, and
