Mr 坂井臣之助 from Japan He graduated from the Department of Economics, Keio University. He is journalist of the Kyodo News, member of the editorial committee of Kyodo News, commentator of Kyodo News, chief editor of the “Zhong Guo guan cha” magazine (《中国观察》周刊) and now in charge of Kyodo News Hong Kong Bureau Mr Feng Chongyi He has studied in Zhong Shan University, Nan Kai University and University of Leeds in the Great Britain and is the first Doctor of Chinese Modern History. He was once the lecturer in the Department of History, Zhong Shan University, Associate Professor in the Department of History, Nan Kai University, and researcher of the Asian Studies center of Murdoch University. He is now the director head of the Chinese Study Center University of Technology, Sydney, and Professor of the School of History, Nan Kai University. He started the courses of China Studies in 1995 in the University of Technology, Sydney and then funded the graduate courses for China Studies, training the Doctors and Master’s degree candidates to write their dissertation in Chinese. His idea of equalizing the status of Chinese and English language in the higher education in English Speaking World is origin. He also initiated Chinese Provinces Study Centers (“中国省市研究中心”) and publishes series in the Province Studies of China and the magazine Provincial China (“省市视野中 的中国”). Mr Jean Bæchler He is now Professor of Sociology and History in Sorbonne University and member of Academy of Moral and Political Sciences. In 1999, he replaced Alain Besançon as member of this academy and teaches in Moral and Sociology. He passed the senior level examination of teachers in History and Geography and has devoted all his time in teaching. Ltd, a columnist on foreign affairs and correspondent of Asia Weekly. He is an expert on international studies, particularly on European affairs, cross-Atlantic relations and Sino-European relations. In recent years, he has focused on security situation of China’s surrounding areas and North Korea Nuclear issues. Mr Tang Hao He is now associate professor of the school of Politics and Administration, Hua Nan Normal University; Doctor; Visiting Research Scholar. His interest of research: Politics of the interest groups, International Economy and Politics. Besides, as columnist of many paper media, he has published more than 400 comments on national and international currant affairs. Mr Tang Shaocheng He is now Associate researcher of the National Chengchi University. Mr Ting Wai He graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and obtained his PhD in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Paris-X (Nanterre), France. Formerly Research Fellow at the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies, Singapore, he is now Professor of the Department of Government and International Studies, Hong Kong Baptist University. Since 2007, he is the President of Hong Kong Association for European Studies. Mr Xiao Gongqin He is professor in the department of history, Shang Hai Normal University. His interest of research: the history of Chinese politics in the 20th century, the development of contemporary Chinese politics, the train of thoughts in contemporary Chinese Society. His books: “ Zhong guo de da zhuan xin: Cong fa zhang zheng zhi xue kan Zhong Guo bian ge”, “ Xiao Gong Qin ji”, “ Wei ji de bian ge : Qing mo xian dai hua jing cheng zhong de ji jin yu bao shou”, “ Yu zheng zhi lang man zhu yi gao bie” “ Ru jia wen hua de kun jing: Zhong Guo jin dai shi da fu yu xi fang tiao zhan”, “Zhi shi fen zi yu guan dian ren” etc. Mr Xiong Peiyun He graduated from Nan Kai University and University of Paris, majoring in History, Law and Communication. Currently a correspondent for Window On the South magazine and a leading columnist for The Beijing News, Xiong Peiyun is a prolific freelance journalist, contributing also to Southern Weekend, Southern Metropolis Daily and other publications. Mr Yang Hengjun After graduating from Fudan University in 1987, he worked in the Foreign Affairs Department in Beijing. From 1992 to 1997, he worked in Hong Kong as the manager of Mainland China Company. He then went to the U.S. as a senior fellow of the Atlantic Council of the United States. From 2002 he began novel writing, blog writing and current affairs comment. Ms Yu Min She is now doing the MSc program at LSE (London School of Economics and Political Science). She has worked for both national and international media for seven years, including Financial Times, DoNews, China’s business and finance magazine. Mr Zhang Boshu He received an MA in economics from Zhongguo Renmin Daxue in 1982 and in 1985 passed the entrance examination for the Institute of Philosophy of the graduate school of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. His research has been on critical theory in continental Europe in modern western philosophy. He obtained MA and PhD degrees in philosophy in 1988 and 1991. He has held a post in the Philosophy Institute of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences from 1991 to the present. In recent years he has striven to understand the lessons of success and failure in the history of the past century of China’s democratic transition and institutional modernization. He has published “ Xian dai xing yu zhi du xian dai hua”( Shang hai, xue lin chu ban she, 1998) and “ Chong jian Zhong guo si li da xue” (co-author with Doctor Wang guilan, Beijing, jiaoyue ke xue chu ban she, 2003) Mr Zhu Xueqing He graduated from Fudan University with a doctorate in history. From 1991 he has since been a Professor in the Department of History, Academy of Letters, Shanghai University and visiting scholar of Harvard University. His interest of research: contemporary Chinese liberalism.
