Background Randy is an Audit partner in KPMG’s Dallas office. He has more than 20 years of experience applying and advising clients and engagement personnel on a variety of accounting and financial reporting matters. He was most recently part of the Department of Professional Practice (DPP) in New York. In that role he focused on leasing and structured finance, business combinations, consolidation, revenue recognition, income taxes, and the application of international financial reporting standards. Prior to joining DPP, Randy was a partner in KPMG’s Investment Management practice. While in DPP he also served as a liaison and technical resource to our Investment Management practice. RANDOLPH P. He was also previously a Partner in Deloitte & Touche LLP’s National Office Accounting Services group located in Wilton, Connecticut. His responsibilities at Deloitte also included consulting with clients and engagement personnel on various accounting and financial reporting matters. Prior to joining Deloitte & Touche, Randy completed a two-­‐year appointment as a Professional Accounting Fellow in the Office of the Chief Accountant of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. In that position, in addition to consulting with registrants on accounting and reporting matters, he served as liaison with professional accounting standard-­‐setting bodies and participated in the development of rule proposals under Federal securities laws. Prior to joining the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Randy worked for Arthur Andersen LLP for nine years. He spent the majority of his time with Andersen as an auditor in the Atlanta, Georgia office, working with a diverse group of clients, including those in the financial services, energy, transportation and telecommunications industries. In addition to his experience in the practice office, he completed an assignment in the Professional Standards Group of Andersen’s National Office in Chicago, Illinois.
