The Sicard 2200 detachable snowblower is a proven performer. This basic
model has been around since the early
Sicard days and the many refinements
introduced over the years have made it
the optimum design in its class. Tough,
reliable, built to last, the 2200 is the biggest
single-stage snowblower we build.
It is designed specifically for installation at
the front of your 1 .15 m3 (1 1/2 cu yd) or
larger front end loader. As such, it can be
attached or disconnected quickly to suit your
contractual requirements. The wide 259 cm
(102 in) head assures a full width snow
clearing operation making the 2200 practical
and efficient for all but the biggest snow
removal jobs.
With the 2200 blower head on your loader,
you have a convenient and highly
manoeuvrable piece of snow removal
equipment that can handle anything
from light fluffy snow to heavy ice.
Self-driven by a160 hp range diesel engine,
it has acapacity of up to 1,000 tons per hour.
To efficiently obtain higher capacities would
mean moving up to a two stage snowblower
and a correspondingly heavier support
vehicle to drive it.
The adjustable chute has a turning radius of
355°. lt can load trucks on either side and
spot cast in any direction f rom 1.5 m (5 ft) to
20 m (65 ft). An adjustable baff le at the base
of the chute regulates chute throat opening.
After a light, fresh snowfall, the opening can
be reduced to obtain a more compact and
controlled flow from the chute.
Because of the highly specialized nature of
snowblower components, and the need to
minimize downtime, Sicard maintains a
complete inventory of those parts which must
be replaced most f requently. Over the winter
season, our central parts warehouse is open
on a 24-hours basis to assure immediate parts
availability in case of emergencies. Regular
maintenance schedules can be arranged, and
emergency repairs can be quickly carried out
by highly trained Sicard personnel. Sicard
offers complete training programs for
maintenance and operational personnel
around the world.
