Keep Hot Foods Hot!
Hot foods should be kept at an internal temperature of 140°F or higher until served. Always check the internal
temperature of food with a food thermometer.
To keep food hot and delicious, we recommend:
• Preheat the oven to 200°F-225°F (oven temperature may vary. This is the typical oven temperature
needed to maintain an internal product temperature of greater than 140°F).
• Transfer hot items to a baking sheet or pan (never place plastic tray in oven)
• Cover food loosely with foil to keep from drying out
• Serve hot food within one hour
• Food can also be kept hot using chafing dishes, slow cookers, or warming trays
Keep Cold Foods Cold!
Cold foods should be kept at 40°F or lower until served. Refrigerate all cold foods as soon as possible,
preferably within one hour of purchase or delivery. If a refrigerator is not available, food may be kept cold by
nesting food containers in bowls or coolers packed with plenty of ice or frozen gel packs. Cold foods are best
served within two hours of purchase.
Keeping leftovers.
Discard any Chick-fil-A® products that have been at room temperature for two hours or more. (When air
temperature is 90°F or higher, discard products after one hour.)
When saving product, it should be divided into smaller portions, placed in shallow containers and refrigerated
as soon as possible. For best quality, all leftover food should be consumed within 24 hours of purchase.
