Daily Incident Report Listings for the Week of 03/22/2015
Listed below are the (16) Patrol Events that took place between 7AM on Monday
March 16, 2015 through 3 AM on Sunday March 22, 2015. All notifications are
listed in the DAR Log Binder. This report was verified by the Account Manager

UVA EVENTS 7am thru 5pm (7 Events- Student Encounter)
1) Ambassador John Crawford and Ron Short were exiting the Substation on
University and Hospital when approached by an employee of the Optical
Clinic stating that a 4 year old boy African American was missing.
Immediately we notified ECC. We then started patrolling around the area.
We spoke with one male stating that he saw the boy momentarily. Minutes
later the boy was found on the second floor of the Clinic. This event took
place at 13:56 on March 16,2015.
2) Ambassador Gary Campbell and Andrew Ayers were both Correctional Officers
at the Albemarle Regional Jail. While standing at their fixed post at 14 th
and University they saw several ex-inmates. When these two Ambassadors
were noticed the inmates said they were getting out of the area. This
event took place on March 16, 2015.
3) Ambassador Andrew Ayres and Gary Campbell were on the fixed post at 14th
and University when notice pan handlers were across the street. The
Ambassadors observed them to make sure there were no harmful intentions.
This event took place 10:00 am March 16,2015.
4) Ambassador Wade Daniels reported a vehicle accident at University and Main
streets. The ECC was notified. The accident included a Mini Van and a small
Sedan. The driver of the Mini Van instructed the other driver to pull over.
The driver of the Mini Van then took off driving West on University. The
license plate number was given by the Ambassador. This event took place on
March 18,2015 at 15:20 hrs.
5) Ambassador Gary Campbell was on the fixed post at 10th and Wertland street
while approached by a elderly tenant. The tenant stated that he and his
colleges appreciate G4S being here in the area due to students getting
robbed. This event took place on March 18,2015 at 10:45 am.
6) Ambassador Gary Campbell spoke with local females and UVA employees about
the Ambassador Program. Both were curious about seeing G4S on the streets.
They stated how appreciated our efforts. The event took place on March
18,2015 at 16:10 hrs.
7) Ambassador Khamphone Ray and Gabrielle Harris were at the fixed post on
University and 14th street when a delivery driver structed the bottom of the
bridge causing debris to fall. Driver did not stop to look for any damage.
This event took place on March 20,2015 at 3:54pm
UVA EVENTS 5pm thru 3am (9 Events- Student Encounter, Citizen Encounter)
8) Ambassador Corey Trice witness a female student falling down as if she
were intoxicated. The Ambassador ask if he can call safe ride for her. The
male that was with her stated that safe ride wasn’t coming hours until
midnight. The Ambassador Offered to call yellow cab. The students said they
will continue to walk. This event took place March 19,2015 at 22:00 hrs.
9) Ambassador Rochelle Wahl was on patrol when a male approached her and
stated to keep up the good work and stated that we should be on the Downtown
Mall as well. This event took place on March 9, 2015.
10) Ambassador Woodrow Terry and Robert Savage received a complaint from a
lady on a Male outside the Trinty Resterant. The male was harassing students.
When the Ambassadors arrived the male started cursing at them. The manager
from the Biltmore Resterant came over and stated that he called CPD. CPD took
over the scene at this point. This event took place on March 19,2015 at 21:45
11) Ambassador Corey Trice and Shania Brinkman assisted with directing
traffic during the protest on 14th street. This event took place on March 18,
2015 at 22:30 hrs.
12) Ambassador Corey Trice and Alonzo Bell were approached by Sgt. C.D. Acord
with Charlottesville Police Dept. The Ambassadors were asked if they saw
anything related to the arrest during the protest. The ambassador had no
information to support the Sgt. Questions. He left his card and showed the
Ambassadors e-mails that reflected on hate. This event took place on March
18,2015 at 18:30 hrs.
13)Ambassador Corey Trice and Alonzo Bell were approached by a lady who
apparently had been drinking. She was stumbling. She had already called
yellow cab. She went on to say she work in the V.P. Office at UVA. She asked
the Ambassador what they thought about the young man’s arrest. The
Ambassadors were polite but didn’t offer too much conversation. This event
took place at 14th Street March 18, 2015 at 18:00 hrs.
14)Ambassador Alonzo Bell responded when he heard a homeless man scream “He
needs an ambulance”. Approximately at 02:15 the Ambassador spoke with Officer
Brener and Officer Berry and an ambulance was on site at 02:22 hrs. This
event took place at 14th and University on March 18, 2015 at 02:13 hrs.
15)Ambassador Scott Craver was at the fixed post on 14th and University when a
vehicle passed when a folder of sheet music blew into the street. The
Ambassador collected the music and called the ECC. The Music Teacher was
contacted and expressed his thanks. He stated that the music was very
valuable. This event took place on March 16, 2015 at 21:30 hrs.
16)Ambassador Scott Craver witness a homeless man shouting and chasing cars.
He then threw a cup of ice striking a moving vehicle. When the Ambassador was
about to call the Police a UVA Police officer arrived on scene. The
Ambassador informed the officer of the man’s travel. This event took place on
14th and University March 16,2015 at 20:45 hrs.

1) Ambassador Cory Trice was on foot patrol on 14th street. He noticed three
males that appeared to be acting suspicious. Ambassador Trice spoke to a
UVA Police officer and reported what he saw. The officer told him that he
would watch for them. This event happened on April 13, 2015 at
approximately 0135.
2) Ambassador Bell was on foot patrol behind Bank of America, when he
observed silver Lexus lose control and hit the garage, curb, and the
fence. The proper authorities were notified, the garage manager was
contacted and Ambassador Bell walked student half way back to her sorority
house. This even happened on April 15, 2015 at approximately 2100.
3) Ambassador Dwain Hayden was on post at the corner of University Ave and
14th Street. Police Officer Ramsey stopped and informed Ambassador Hayden
of a possible suicidal suspect that reportedly was armed. The officer gave
Ambassador Hayden a brief description of the vehicle. Ambassador Hayden
informed his supervisor of the situation for assistance in locating the
vehicle. This event happened on April 15, 2015 at approximately 0049.
4) Ambassador Mohammad Masoudi was on foot patrol behind bank of America. He
watched a car accident happen in the parking lot. There were no injuries.
The victims in the accident already had called 911. No one showed up for
over ten minutes. Ambassador Masoudi reported back to the substation and
told the police officers that were at the substation. They stated they had
gotten the report and they were on their way there. This event happened on
April 17, 2015 at approximately 2045.
5)Ambassador Scott Craver was on post in 14th street. He watched a person
enter common grounds building even though the building had closed for the
day. Ambassador Craver notified the Police department. As the police
officers were searching the building the suspect fled from another door up
Hospital Dr. The police officers pursued the suspect but were unable to
detain him. This event took place on April 17, 2015 at approximately 0200.
6)Ambassador Mohammad Masoudi was on post in the substation. A UVA student
came to the substation and relayed the information that one of his friends
had an altercation with her boyfriend and that he had threatened to smash
her car windows in Jimmy John’s parking lot. Officer Duglas was on duty
inside the substation. Ambassador Masoudi relayed the information to
Officer Duglas who stated he would take care of the incident. This event
happened April 18, 2015 at approximately 1935.
7)Ambassador Scott Craver was on foot patrol returning to the substation. He
noticed five UVA students (3 females, 2 males) carrying a street sign that
had been broken off at the bottom. He relayed the information to the UVA
police officer in front of the substation. The officer looked up and then
continued with his conversation and did not investigate the matter. This
event took place on April 19, 2015 at approximately 0105 hours.
8)Ambassador Richard Alliers was on foot patrol when he noticed glass falling
from a window. Three individuals passing by the alleyway were almost hit
by the falling glass. UVA police officers were notified and did not
investigate the incident. This event happened on April 19, 2015 at
approximately 0200 hours.

Wednesday December 10, 2014 through 3 AM on Wednesday February 18,2015. All

Bell assisted a tractor trailer driver in turning
the 14th street bridge.
2) Ambassador Riddick and Scott Patrol fixed areas on foot. Officers also
were looking potential hazards due to the snow. Monitor student travel.
3) Ambassador Bell patrolled 10th and Wertland fixed post. Ambassador Bell
also patrolled the beta bridge and 14th and Grady. The activity was normal.
4) Ambassador Scott will position at 10th and Wertland fixed post at 1500 hrs.
to monitor student traffic.

1) Ambassador Scott talked to students jogging at the Beta Bridge about the
Ambassador Program. There were 5 students. The event took place Saturday
March 7,2015 at 8:00am.
2) Ambassador Henry Scott spoke with resident at 10th and Wertland about the
Ambassador Program. This event took place on Saturday March 7, 2015 at
10:45am. The tenant offered Scott a cup of coffee.
3) Ambassador Henry Scott talked to a group of residents on Madison Ave. and
Preston Ave. (Washington Park) about the Ambassador Program. There were six
people present. This event took place on Saturday March 7, 2015 at 11:15am.
4) Ambassador Henry Scott talked with students at the bus stop on 14th and
Grady Ave about the Ambassador Program. This event took place on Saturday
March 7, 2105 at 12:05pm.
5) Ambassador Henry Scott gave directions to visitors from the State of Ohio
on how to get to The Downtown Mall Area from 10th street. The visitors asked
about the Ambassador Program. This event took place on March 7,2015 at
14:10pm.
6) Ambassador Mohammad Merwais gave directions to a student on how to get to
the Train Station. The student thanked him and complemented the program. This
event took place Saturday March 7,2015 at 09:10am.
7) Ambassador Mohammad Merwais gave directions to a student on how to get to
the Bus Stop. This event took place on Saturday March 7, 2015 at 11:45am.
8) Ambassador Gary Campbell talked to and warned a student on the hazards of
walking along the train tracks. The event took place at the 14th street under
pass at 15:00 hrs. on Saturday March 7,2015.
9) Ambassador Gary Campbell spoke with a male asking about the Ambassador
Program. The male individual was interested in joining the G4S Team. This
event took place on Saturday March 7, 2015 at 08:45am.
10) Ambassador Henry Directed Traffic at the Beta Bridge to assist a driver
while changing two flat tires. This event took place on March 14,2015 at
07:45 to 08:30 hrs.
11)Ambassador Khamphone Ray was approach in the G4S vehicle by a tenant on
Wertland looking for a dog.(Lab)The Ambassador spotted the dog across the
street behind some apartments. She alerted the tenant. The dog was retrieved
and the tenant was happy. This event took place on March 15,2015 at 10:39am.
12)Ambassador Rochelle Wahl observed a older Tall Black male outside of
starbucks Cafe asking for money. When the male saw the Ambassador he went and
stood in the alley to see if maybe she was watching him. When the Ambassador
walked pass the second time he then took his bike off the rack and road down
14th street. He was not seen for the rest of the day. This event took place on
March 11,2015 at 14:00 hrs.
13)Ambassador Ron Short was returning to the Substation when approached by a
professor by the name of (name redacted). The professor stated that he was
impressed and thankful of the program. He plans to share our conversation
with staff and students. This event took place on March 11,2015 at 11:40 am.

14).Ambassador Wade Daniels witness a man falling off his motor cycle while
trying to start it. The male hit the ground head first. The Ambassador stated
that the male didn’t appear intoxicated. The Ambassador offered to call for
help but the male declined. This event took place on March 8, 2015 at 10 th and
Grady at 11:05pm.
15) Ambassador Rochelle Wahl was on patrol when a male approached her and
stated to keep up the good work and stated that we should be on the Downtown
Mall as well. This event took place on March 9, 2015.
16)Ambassador Shania Brinkman witness an accident at the corner of Emmett and
University Ave. The Ambassador checked to see if everyone was okay. The
Ambassador called ECC and reported the accident. Minutes later CPO arrived
and took over the scene. This event took place on March 12,2015 at 17:45 pm.
17)Ambassador Woodrow Terry assisted two tour bus drivers here at 14th and
University. The buses were too tall to get under the bridge. One of the buses
had mechanical failure. CPO arrived on the scene and assisted as well. A
mechanical service was notified and the buses were re-routed. This event took
place on March 7,2015 at 21:07 hrs.

UVA EVENTS 7am thru 5pm
1)Ambassador E. Coles was on foot patrol in the Tenth Street area. An
African American male started following Ambassador Coles. He started
saying derogatory statements pertaining to Ambassador Coles. She
told the male to have a nice day and she came to the substation to
file a report. This event happened on April 20, 2015 at
approximately 0950 hours.
2) Ambassador Scott Craver, while on foot patrol in the area of the
Greek Apartments, observed a small black sedan driven by two white
female students back out of a driveway and strike a parked vehicle.
The female students left the scene and drove away. Ambassador Craver
wrote down the license plate number of the vehicle that left the scene
and make a report to Charlottesville Police upon his arrival back to
the substation. This event took place on April 23, 2015 at
approximately 0945 hours.
3) Ambassador Erica Butler was on foot patrol was approached by a
female student stating her name was (Name Redacted). (Name Redacted)
wanted to thank G4S for being here on campus. She stated she was
grateful for us interacting with her and the other students. She
stated she felt safer with us than with Charlottesville PD, UVA PD,
and UVA Security being on campus. This event took place on April 23,
2015 at approximately 1030 hours.
4) Ambassador Scott Craver was on post at 14th Street Bridge. He
noticed staff from the UVA Women’s Center struggling to secure a sign
in the wind. He offered his assistance and helped the staff member
secure the sign. This event took place April 23, 2015 at approximately
1045 hours.
5) Project Manager Ron Short was outside the substation when he was
approached by a student by the name of (Name Redacted). She conveyed
the message that Ambassador Cory Trice made her feel safe the night
before as he stood with her as she was waiting for a cab. She stated
that she was grateful for G4S being here and that they made her feel
safe. This event occurred on April 23, 2015 at approximately 1215
hours.
6) Ambassador Khamphone Ray was on the fixed post at University and
14th when she overheard student asking for help finding their dog.
Ambassador Ray found the dog on 15th street and then guided the
owner of the dog to where the dog was. This event took place on
April 25, 2015 at approximately 0955 hours.
7)Ambassador Gary Campbell was doing a foot patrol when he was
approached by an elderly couple and asked if he could assist them
with helping a handicapped man with a walker get into the passenger
seat. Ambassador Campbell helped the man into the car. Tis event
took place on April 26, 2015 at approximately 1300 hours.
UVA EVENTS 5pm thru 3am
8) Ambassador Cory Trice was on post on the beta bridge in mobile patrol. A
female UVA student rode her bike up to the vehicle and gave him a description
of a dog that she had lost. Ambassador Cory Trice spotted him and told her
where he was, she called for him but he ran the other way. Ambassador Trice
helped the female recover her dog. This event happened on April 22, 2015 at
approximately 1825 hours.
9) Ambassador Cory Trice was on foot patrol when an individual flagged him
down. The individual stated that there was another individual that would not
get off the bus. Trice attempted to wake up the guy but he wouldn’t respond.
Both supervisors were notified. Ambassador Bell called EMS. EMS transported
the unconscious individual to UVA Medical Center. This event happened on
April 22, 2015 at approximately 2347 hours.
10) Ambassador Terry Woodrow was on mobile patrol. While pulling up to the
substation he notices an African American male spitting on a female that was
sleeping on the sidewalk. A white male that was with the other male started
videotaping the female as she began to scream. Ambassador Woodrow, Hayden,
and Masoudi asked the white male and black male to leave. This event happened
on April 22, 2015 at approximately 0219 hours.
11) Ambassador Robert Savage was on a foot patrol on the way to Beta Bridge
when he found a purse belonging to
. The ambassador checked the
purse where he found an I.D., a Bank of America debit card, Georgia driver’s
license, a nickel and a key. Ambassador Savage reported this to his Sergeant
Alonzo Bell, whom notified (Name Redacted) via Facebook that she could pick
up her items at the substation. This event took place on April 23, 2015 at
approximately 0120 hours.
12) Ambassador Dwain Hayden was between CVS and Qdoba Mexican Grill when a 22
year old UVA student, (Name Redacted) slid down the banister, slipped off,
and hit his head on the pavement. His injury caused him to bleed. Ambassador
Hayden called 911 at 1907. EMS first responders, (Name Redacted), (Name
Redacted), and (Name Redacted) arrived on the scene at 1910 and medical
transport arrived at 1913. They were off the scene at 1933. This event took
place on April 24, 2015 at approximately 1907 hours.

UVA EVENTS 7am thru 5pm
1) Ambassador Marva Patterson was on foot patrol when she saw (Name
Redacted), a 27 year old male from Louisa, truck had broken down in
the church parking lot on University Avenue. Ambassador Patterson
assisted (Name Redacted) and 2 University students push the truck and
get it started. This incident took place April 27, 2015 at 1140 hours.
2) Ambassador Khamphone Ray was approached by a civilian on post at 10th
street and Wertland. The civilian informed Ambassador Ray of an
altercation between a male and female by the battlefield. Ambassador
Ray called Sergeant Henry Scott and informed him of the incident.
Police department was already on the scene. This incident took place
on April 27, 2015, at 1408 hours.
UVA EVENTS 5pm thru 3am
3) Ambassador Cory Trice was on Wertland when he noticed a female UVA
student needed assistance backing her vehicle into her spot.
Ambassador Trice assisted the student. This incident took place on
April 27, 2015 at 1915 hours.
4) Ambassador Alonzo Bell was on patrol when he witnessed a car side
swiped a parked car on Grady headed towards Beta Bridge. Ambassador
Bell contacted the non-emergency number. This incident took place
April 28, 2015 at 2242 hours.
5) Ambassador Dontae Waller was on patrol near Elliwood when he came
across a student and father needing assistance with their vehicle.
Ambassador Waller tried to help but the car needed a starter. This
incident took place on April 28, 2015 between 1900-1940 hours.
6)Ambassador Cory Trice was doing a foot patrol near Grand Marc when
he saw two UVA male students carrying a NO PARKING sign. Ambassador
Trice called UVA police to inform them of the incident. This incident
took place on April 29, 2015 at 2350 hours.
7) Ambassador Robert Savage and Ambassador Ryan Walsh encountered a
stalled vehicle on Ivy Road while heading to UVA police department.
Ambassadors Savage and Walsh helped the young man push the vehicle to
the side of the road. The young man was very appreciative of their
help. This incident took place on April 30, 2015 at 1750 hours.
8) Ambassador Scott Craver was on patrol on 14th Street and Grady when
he noticed a contractor having trouble directing traffic around the
closed road. Ambassador Craver assisted with traffic control and gave
directions to motorist while it was busy. This incident took place on
April 30, 2015.

UVA EVENTS 7am thru 5pm
1) Ambassador John Crawford was on a foot patrol on Chancellor Street
when he saw a young female student crawl under the safety fence by the
railroad tracks. Ambassador Crawford asked her to stop and that
crossing the tracks is a federal offense. The young woman ignored
Ambassador Crawford and continued to cross the tracks to the other
side toward Westminster Presbyterian Church. This incident took place
on May 5, 2015 at 14:55 hours.
2) Ambassador Robert Savage received a call from Ambassador (Name
Redacted)at approximately 1015 hours stating that he had passed out
and hurt his knee. Ambassador (Name Redacted) informed Ambassador
Savage that he was located near Rugby Road and Beta Bridge and that he
did not need emergency assistance. Ambassador Savage and Major Ron
Short picked up Ambassador (Name Redacted) and after noticing that
(Name Redacted) was limping and that his voice was shaky they
encouraged him to seek medical attention. Major Short and Ambassador
Savage escorted Ambassador (Name Redacted) to the UVA emergency room.
This incident took place on May 6, 2015 between 1015 and 1030 hours.
UVA EVENTS 5pm thru 3am
3) Ambassador Dante Waller and Ambassador Alonzo Bell were patrolling
on Virginia Avenue when they heard a scream and rushed to the area.
Once on the scene they were told by a student that she had been
assaulted by another student that was intoxicated and trying to drive
home. The student called Charlottesville police saying that she was
assaulted but did not wait for the police to arrive. The intoxicated
student began having a panic attack so the ambassadors called EMT for
assistance. Charlottesville police said that they were in the area but
did not know anything was happening. This incident took place on May
6, 2015 at 2230 hours.
4) Ambassador Dylan Banach and Scott Craver were walking past Beta
Bridge and down the path by the church when they heard a female scream
from Virginia Avenue. Both ambassadors hurried down to the home where
the scream came from, home 1515 on Virginia Avenue. Ambassador Craver
notified the supervisor, Alonzo Bell, who then came to the home and
decided to call the police department. An officer from Charlottesville
happened to be passing by so they explained the situation and the
officer then tried all of the doors to the house. After not getting an
answer the officer cleared the call by radio to ECC. As the officer
was leaving he stated “Chalk this to the ‘I don’t know, nobody would
answer’.” Ambassadors Banach, Bell, and Craver made additional passes
by the home to check for any other problems. This incident occurred on
May 10, 2015 at 0200 hours.

UVA EVENTS 7am thru 5pm
1) Ambassador Henry Scott was approached by a student after the
graduation ceremonies. She remembered that he had walked her home from
the library one night and wanted to thank him for taking the time and
making sure she was safe. She introduced him to her family that was
with her. This incident occurred on May 16, 2015 at 1330 hours.
2) Ambassador Wade Daniel was on bike patrol on 11th street when he
found a cell phone on the ground. The owner called and asked
Ambassador Daniel to leave it at an address. Ambassador Daniel left
the phone for the owner to pick up. This incident occurred on May 17,
2015 at 0800 hours.
3) Ambassador Cory Trice was on a foot patrol walking from Wertland
when he heard yelling at Cohns Corner Store. He then saw a homeless
man yelling at the employees. The employees told ambassador Trice that
they wanted the guy to leave. Ambassador Trice closed the door to the
store and asked the man to leave, blocking his way in the store. The
homeless man brushed up against Ambassador Trice. Ambassador trice
then put his guard up and asked the man to leave again. The homeless
man finally left using profane language. The owner asked Ambassador
Trice to stay until the police arrived. This incident occurred on May
17, 2015 at 1125 hours.
UVA EVENTS 5pm thru 3am
4) Approximately 2033 hours Ambassador Sergeant Alonzo Bell received a call
from Ambassador Marva Patterson saying that Ambassador (Name Redacted) was
acting unusual, staggering and was delusional on 14th Street. Around 2035
hours Bell went to find Ambassador (Name Redacted) and soon found him on
Wertland, staggering, and then fell into a telephone pole. Bell ran to catch
(Name Redacted) since he was not responding to his name, nor did Ambassador
(Name Redacted) know where he was or how he got there. (Name Redacted) then
fell to the ground. Approximately 2045 hours Sergeant Bell called 911 and
sent Ambassador Khoshal Hakimi to retrieve water from The Corner Store.
Around 2055 hours the ambulance arrived to assess the situation. By 2108
hours Sergeant Bell notified site manager and ambulance leaves with
Ambassador (Name Redacted) saying the cause was dehydration. This incident
occurred on May 11, 2015 between 20133 and 2108 hours.
5) While Ambassador Dante Waller was at the fixed post on Wertland and
10th, he was approached by two female students saying that a “creepy
old guy” was circling their apartment. Ambassador Waller went to the
apartment to see what was going on and when he saw the man he asked
him how he was doing and if he lived in building. When the man
answered no, Ambassador Waller asked the man to leave the premises.
The man left and Ambassador Waller continued to check the area
afterwards. This incident took place on May 14, 2015 at 2315 hours.
6) Ambassador Barbara Lee was on Grady and Madison when she heard
about four of five gunshots around 0010 hours. Ambassador Lee called
the non-emergency line and around 0020 hours, Officer Farberer, of
Charlottesville police department, responded. No shells were found.
This incident occurred on May 15, 2015.

1) Ambassador Cory Trice was doing a foot patrol on 14th Street when a
High Peak employee was about to open the store when she noticed a
shopping cart belonging to Staples. She asked Ambassador Trice what he
thought that she should do with it. He informed her to contact the
store it belongs to, Staples. She agreed and called the store. This
incident took place on May 20, 2015 at 0852 hours.
2) Ambassador Gary Campbell observed a man going through a back pack
on the corner of University Ave and 14th street at 0945 hours. A man
named (Name Redacted) working on power lines grabbed the backpack and
shoved the man going through it into the street. Ambassador Campbell
asked what was happening and (Name Redacted) informed him that it was
his backpack on the sidewalk at Boylan Heights that the man was going
through. Ambassador Campbell had the man that was going through the
backpack walk up the street. At 1040 hours Ambassador Butler called
Ambassador Campbell to the corner stating that the guy had returned
harassing and cursing (Name Redacted). She contacted the non-emergency
line. Two of Charlottesville police officers arrived and handled the
situation. This incident took place on May 20, 2015.
UVA EVENTS 5pm thru 3am
3) Ambassadors Alonzo Bell and Donte Waller noticed two students struggling
to walk down the stairs in front of Qdoba. Both ambassadors escorted the
students to 1123 Wertland Street. This incident took place on May 21, 2015 at
0100 hours.

1) Ambassador Cory Trice arrived on Wertland Street and noticed a blue
Passat had a busted window. After taking a closer look he saw that
there was a rock in the back right seat and that an iPhone was still
in the charger. Ambassador called ECC. This incident took place on May
25, 2015 at 0739 hours.
2) Ambassador Wade Daniel was on a bike patrol when he witnessed an
accident between 2 vehicles on 15th Street and Gordon Avenue.
Ambassador Daniel stopped to see if either party were injured. No one
had any injuries. The people involved in the accident exchanged
information and left the scene. This incident took place on May 27,
2015 at 1228 hours.
UVA EVENTS 5pm thru 3am
3) Ambassador Ebony Coles and Ambassador Kewanda Moore were informed
by Ambassador Daniela Romero that there was an intoxicated white male
sleeping in his car. Ambassador Coles, Moore and Romero proceeded to
the parking lot where the male was found lying in the grass.
Ambassador Coles called UVA police to inform them of the males
condition. The male made an attempt to walk in the direction of
University Avenue and was found sleeping behind St. Paul Church. This
incident took place on May 26, 2015 at 2330 hours.

1) On June 2, 2015 at 1830 hours, project manager, Ron Short, received
a voicemail from a gentleman by the name of (Name Redacted). He called
to express his deep gratitude from the kind and professional service
he received from Ambassador Erica Butler. He made it a point to convey
his upmost gratitude from Erica giving him directions to the court
yard. Mr. (Name Redacted) was visiting from Westport, Connecticut.
UVA EVENTS 5pm thru 3am
2) Ambassador Rochelle Wahl was on a foot patrol behind the
Westminster church and saw the back door was open on the first house
on the right that was for rent. There was a light on in the home
upstairs. Ambassador Wahl called ECC and four Charlottesville police
officers arrived on the scene and entered the home. No one was inside.
This incident took place on June 2, 2015 at 0130 hours.
3)Ambassadors Khoshal Hakimi and FNU Hashmatullah were passing the
St.Marten Café, which is located on 14th Street, when a male in a
black shirt, black hat, and grey pants began cursing at them and
calling them racial slurs. The male made it clear that he wanted to
harm the ambassadors. Ambassadors Hakimi and Hashmatullah hid
themselves and called the supervisor, Ambassador Ebony Randoll-Coles.
Ambassador Ebony Randall- Coles had the other ambassdors return to
Public Safety Substation. The male was believed to be an employee of
the St.Marten Café, but they were unsure. This incident took place on
June 5, 2015 at 2135 hours.

1) A local female named (Name Redacted) was walking up the sidewalk towards
the G4S Substation and appeared to be distraught. A man, in a black Nissan
Maxima, was following her and yelling at her. He then pulled up on the curb
and parked so he could continue to yell at her. (Name Redacted) told the man
to drive away and to leave her alone. After the man drove away, Ambassador
Robert Savage asked the woman if she was alright. (Name Redacted) said that
she was upset because her boyfriend had been talking to other women on
Facebook. The man turned around and parked on the curb again and came after
(Name Redacted), yelling at her again. (Name Redacted) sought refuge behind
Ambassador Savage and Ambassador Scott Craver. Ambassador Savage walked the
man away from the (Name Redacted) to help deescalate the situation. (Name
Redacted) did not want to call the police. The ambassadors made sure (Name
Redacted) safely boarded the trolley. The man left the area and did not
return. The ambassadors reported the incident to a passing UVA police
officer. This incident took place on 14th Street and University Avenue on June
13, 2015 at 0830 hours.

1) While on foot patrol on Wertland, Ambassador Wade Daniel found an iPhone
5s in front of the Grand Marc Apartments at 0800 hours. While on his way to
the substation to try and find the owner, the owner used a tracking device to
locate the phone and Ambassador Daniel returned it to the young lady around
1045 hours. The female thanked Ambassador Daniel. This incident took place on
June 21, 2015.

1) On June 24, 2015 at 0220 hours, Ambassador Leo Barash was approached by a
female student. She was requesting that Ambassador Barash escort her back to
her residence on 13th Street and Grady Avenue. Ambassador Barash escorted the
young lady to her home without incident.
2) On June 25, 2015 at 2341 hours, Ambassador Saul Rosa was approached by UVA
maintenance. They were reporting a strange bag in front of building 1400.
Ambassador Rosa contacted ECC and reported it. K9 officer J. Gates and UVA
officer A. Ragland arrived on the scene and inspected the bag. The bag was
searched and cleared by UVA police.
3) On June 25, 2015 at 2345 hours, (Name Redacted), a UVA researcher, found a
check and turned it over to Ambassador Saul Rosa. Ambassador Rosa turned it
over to UVA officer A. Ragland.
4)On June 25, 2015 at 0200 hours, Ambassador Woodrow Terry and
Ambassador Mohommad Merwais saw a student light a chair on fire at the
top of 14th Street and University Avenue. Ambassador Terry called 911
and gave the location. Two Charlottesville police officers arrived and
put out the fire with a fire extinguisher. Area was secured.

1) On July 2, 2015 at 14th Street and University Avenue, Ambassador Saul Rosa
witnessed The Student Services Moving and Storage truck hit the under
passage. The truck did not clear and was stuck. Ambassador Rosa called ECC
and two officers reported to the scene of the accident. Ambassador Rosa and
Ambassador Keith Bradford helped control traffic along 14th and University.

1) On June 30, 2015 at 1943 hours Ambassador Erica Butler was in a company
vehicle traveling to her post on Grady Avenue when she was hit by (Name
Redacted) whom was trying to park her car and lost control of the vehicle
while Ambassador Butler was driving past. Ambassador Butler called
Charlottesville police and got (Name Redacted) insurance information. This
took place on 300 15th Street NW. Officer Schellinger, Badge number 80
arrived. (Claim # 1493500)
2) On July 1, 2015 at 0217 hours, Ambassador Alonzo Bell saw an intoxicated
UVA student. Ambassador Bell walked the student home to University Circle.

1) Ambassador Zikria Zaki was on Grady Avenue around 2255 hours when a female
approached him and asked if he could escort her because a van was following
her. Ambassador Zaki notified Supervisor Ambassador Alonzo Bell. Ambassador
Bell arrived shortly after the call and escorted the female to her
destination. This incident took place on July 7, 2015.
2) At approximately 2339 hours on July 10, 2015, Ambassador FNU
Hashmatullah and Mohammad Hamidy were on a foot patrol on 15th Street
and Virginia Avenue when they spotted a very intoxicated student in
bad condition. They dialed 911 for assistance and the ambulance took
the student to the hospital.
3) While on a bike patrol on Wertland Avenue, Ambassador Alonzo Bell
witnessed a female, (Name Redacted), stumble off of the sidewalk and ask
if she needed an escort home. (Name Redacted) did want the escort and
Ambassador Bell walked her to 1129 Wertland Avenue on July 10, 2015 at
0023 hours.
4) Ambassador Mohammad Tasleem was on a foot patrol on 14th street when a
student informed him that there was a wallet on the table in front of the ice
cream shop. Ambassador Tasleem retrieved the wallet and handed it over to the
supervisor, Alonzo Bell, who then turned it over to Charlottesville police.
This incident took place at 0105 hours on July 10, 2015.
5) Ambassador Mohammad Hamidy was on a foot patrol when a student
asked for a ride. Ambassador Hamidy then called Safe Ride and stayed
with the student until Safe Ride arrived. This incident took place at
0209 hours on July 10, 2015.
6) At 0148 hours on July 11, 2015, Ambassador Barbara Lee saw over
100 bystanders blocking traffic. Ambassador Lee called ECC. Several
officers responded to clear the roads.
7) At 0300 hours on July 12, 2015, Ambassador Leo Barash was
approached by a young woman who reported that her younger brother was
missing. Ambassador Barash called UVA police and told the woman to
give them the details.

We have counted all the encounters the Ambassadors have received from the (DARS) Daily
Activity Reports. The total since February 2,2015 have been 81 encounters.
These encounters will include the following scenarios:

Ecscorted a student to apartments on 14th street.
Walked student from the Library on Gordon Street to the bus stop on Grady.
Escorted antoxicated female from Lambeth Street to the bus stop on McCormick. Set with
student until bus arrived.

Defused a fight that took place in front of Trinty lounge.
Ambassador Scott Craver
Assisted with the transport of an antoxicated female to the hospital. The Ambassador found the
student laying in the bushes.
Ambassador Alonzo Bell
Property Manager requested the Ambassadors assistance to have homeless men stop making
insulting comments to young female students walking down 14th and Wertland.
