• Adjusts Ice Eater angle in 20° increments from horizontal to vertical with full 360° positioning
• Steel mounting base, bale & pipe holder are all powder-coated twice to protect against corrosion
• Includes mounting base, bail with clevis pins & clips, pipe holder with bolts & nuts, plus tightening handle
• Maxiumum pole length is 6’ to provide secure mounting & prevents pole from bending
• Connection pipe is not included (due to shipping limitations); 1” galvenized or stainless steel is recommended
* stainless steel should be used for salt water applications
• Customer to provide appropriate lag screws or u-bolts to secure mount to dock, piling, pole or bulkhead
MODEL SPECIFICATIONS
All Models have the following:
• Motor housing is constructed of 16 guage 304 stainless
steel and bronze endbell for corrosion free operation in
fresh and salt water. Motor exceeds NEMA specifications
and is UL and CSA compliant and C.E. certified.
• Motor shafts is 316 stainless steel, the best material for
salt water application
• Permanent split capacitor ensures quick high torque and
smooth operation, while producing the highest efficiency
of a single phase induction motor. Motor and capacitor
are matched for ultimate performance.
• Internal, heavy-duty, hard-faced mechanical seal with
stainless components immersed in dielectic lubricating
fluid. Additional double lip shaft seal for extra protection.
• Stator motor windings have double impregnataion of
baked insulating varnish.
• Two heavy-duty ball bearings provide support for the rotor
while being cooled with dielectric type fluid.
• Sacrificial custom designed zinc is provided for conditions where
electrolysis may be present.
• Propeller is custom designed for maximum thrust and performance.
Propeller screws on shaft for easy removal and replacement.
• Twenty-five feet of 16/3 water and oil resistant cord with three prong
molded plug is standard. Additional length cord available: 50’, 100’,
150’ and 200’. 200’ available in 230 volt only.
• Heavy-duty PVC custom brackets thaht attach motor to shroud. All
stainless bolts and locking aircraft nuts are used.
• Performance certified tested at our facility for proper output and
leaks before shipment.

*Note: There are a certain set of conditions under which no circulator can prevent ice damage such as ice that moves as
a result of wind or current, extremely cold weather where ice freezes all the way to the bottom and in some cases where
the bottom water temperature is the same as ice (very shallow water).
