The UCSD Psychology program offers courses that range from neuropsychology to covering the lifespan from infancy through old
age, people as individuals and as members of groups, and adaptive and maladaptive behavior. UCSD provides a strong
foundation for graduate and professional studies, such as education, counseling, social work, business, and law.
Students successfully completing the coursework will earn an ASSOCIATE DEGREE IN LIBERALARTS in MATH and SCIENCE and
an ASSOCIATE DEGREE IN MATHEMATICS for TRANSFER from MSJC and be ready to transfer to UCSD in the Psychology Major.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Application must be submitted between November 1st to November 30th, one year prior to transfer.
2. All students should meet with a counselor at least once a semester to update their plan and review
admission requirements to the university of their choice.
3. *Recommended to complete as an Honors Enrichment course. See a counselor for more information about
the Honors Enrichment Program.
4. **Three lower-division, general introductory natural science courses from the listing of the approved UCSD
courses (The three courses can be distributed in any manner).
5. #Courses in this area must be from at least two disciplines.
