BEFORE DRIVING:
Disconnect the Power Cable
1. Push the trigger on top of the cable grip.
2. Pull the connector out of the car’s socket on front of
the car.
3. Return connector to charging station receptacle,
close orange cap, and close port door.
STARTING:

1. With foot on the brake, push
power button (lower right of
steering wheel).

2. Check the Li-ion Battery Gauge
on instrument panel for remaining
battery power to drive the vehicle.
If low on battery power, you’ll need

to charge car at a charging station
or a standard 120V house current.
3. Move gearshift left, then forward
for Reverse or back for Drive.

4. Push electric parking brake switch
down to release.
5. Touch “OK” or “Decline” on center touch screen.
> Car is ready to drive when this icon pops up.
DRIVING:
If you want to engage ECO mode (to increase your range):
1. Move gearshift into Drive again.
2. Shift to Drive a third time to deselect ECO mode.
PARKING:
1. Push “P” button on top of gearshift to set to park.
2. Pull up on electric parking brake
switch to activate.
3. Push power button to turn off car.

CHARGING:
1. Turn the vehicle off.
2. Pull the charge port door release,
always charge the car
bottom left of the steering wheel
when you are done
(left of hood release).
3. Open charge port door and
orange port cap located on front
of the car. Hold ChargePoint card
(in visor) over the charge station
to activate.
4. Plug charging cable into port.
Make sure plug clicks and charging
station beeps.
WHERE TO CHARGE:
> A charging station. Find one by
pressing Zero Emission button to the
right of the center touch screen. Then touch the
“Nearby Stations” icon.
> A standard 120V house current (3-prong plug), using
the portable charging cable located in the trunk.
BATTERY SAVING TIPS
> Consider the distance of your trip and make sure your round
trip is within the range of the vehicle—or plan a stop to
re-charge during your reservation.
> Maximize the range of the vehicle: drive at reduced speeds,
accelerate and brake gently, minimize your use of climate
control, and avoid hilly routes.
> Always plug the vehicle into the charging station when you
return it to its home Pod.
