We are currently expanding our Insurance Services department and are adding an Insurance Manager position for our
Brampton Region Office. Our department is responsible for cultivating Insurance Sales by way of providing support,
education and expertise to Investors Group Consultants in the work they do with their clients. This position offers a
competitive salary combined with commission income.
The Insurance Planning Specialists help Investors Group Consultants incorporate risk management and estate
planning solutions into our clients’ financial plans. They enjoy being the local “insurance expert”, helping our
Consultants grow their insurance business.
Responsibilities include:
 Driving Insurance sales at Investors Group within the assigned territory. This includes promoting, marketing
and delivering group presentations.
 Building and maintaining strong working relationships with Consultants and Region Office Management.
 Training Consultants on insurance at various competency levels.
 Managing and promoting relationships with our Insurance Partners.
 Participating in joint client sales appointments with Consultants.
 Assisting Consultants and Region Management in insurance licensing.
 Collaborating with Head Office on insurance initiatives to the field.
Qualifications:
 A natural leader who is results-driven
 4+ years’ professional experience in the sale or marketing of insurance products, including selling to clients.
 Industry Designation – CFP and/or CLU or currently involved in taking the course(s).
 Extensive insurance and financial planning expertise, as well as specific knowledge of the products currently
available in the marketplace.
 Team spirit and entrepreneurship that will enable you to build solid relationships with your peers and with the
Consultants and Regional Management to be serviced.
 Must hold a current life insurance license.
 Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and oral.
 Practical knowledge of Ms Office software, such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
