OneSteel Market Mills Joins the Australian Made Campaign
Proud to be one of Australia’s Top 100 companies as listed on the
Australian Stock Exchange, OneSteel today announced that it had
joined the Australian Made campaign to support its well known local
brands including DuraGal®, 300PLUS™, Waratah®, UltraPipe™ and
Tubeline™.
The well known green and gold Kangaroo Trade Mark of Australian
Made will be carried on all OneSteel Market Mills product and
promotional material.
According to Geoff Plummer, Executive General Manager OneSteel
Market Mills, research undertaken by the company has shown that
the fact that OneSteel is Australian and manufactures its product
locally is important to customers, employees and shareholders.
“Our research has shown us that there is a belief in the community
that steel is important to everyday life and to the strength of the
Australian economy. In general, our customers would prefer to work
with and buy from an Australian company if the price, quality and
solution being offered are competitive”.
