JOHN K. HARRIS, Ph.D. and a CPA for 25 years, is professor emeritus at the University of Tulsa. He is independently engaged in stock market research. In December 2000, Barron’s published his article, “January’s Child.” His work as a stock market historian has been cited several times in Barron’s during 20032008. In January 2008, he published a book for individual investors, The Wall Street Traffic Light. For 25 years he has authored the Student Guide that accompanies Cost Accounting: A Managerial Emphasis, the leading textbook in its field.
