prospective business coach self-assessment TM ghostCEO www.GhostCEO.com ghostCEOTM prospective business coach self-assessment In this document, we want to give you a taste of what a coach in our model does on a monthly basis. The more of these items you answer ‘yes’ to, the more you are going to like our model. The more you answer ‘no’ to; the less you are going to like it. There are no trick questions, but please consider each one on it’s own. Question I like to have a recipe for what I’m doing rather than ‘free-styling’. I like to be part of a bigger team, but have my own independence. I like to get to the answer quickly, rather than working through the problem for hours I like to have just a handful of client types, rather than a very diverse and mixed clientele? I know my worth and don’t negotiate my rates once I set them? I know the value I bring to the table and would rather not work with a client then have them discount me. I will happily fire clients that don’t follow my rules. Clients that don’t pay are not clients. Everybody gets the ‘time of day’...once. People can waste their time, but not my time. I’m good at reviewing information and implementing it. I will ask questions if I’m stuck rather than...staying stuck. I’m open to looking at how to do things better on a daily basis. I’m a ferocious consumer of information on things I’m interested in. www.GhostCEO.com Yes No ghostCEOTM Question I believe there is a ‘right’ way and an ‘easy’ way. If I’m going to do something, I believe I might as well do it right. I know that when it comes right down to it, I’m responsible for my outcome. I don’t suffer fools lightly. I make it a practice to only help those who genuinely want to be helped. I enjoy dealing with business owners one on one. I enjoy giving people things to work on (homework) to develop their skills. I believe that every business owner has to do the ‘work’ if they want a successful business. Do you like teaching business owners information in a group setting like a seminar or workshop? Do you enjoy addressing larger audiences like in a keynote? Do you like teaching business owners information in a group setting like in a keynote? Do you have a substantial business network of contacts already built? Have you coached, mentored, trained peers before? Do you like giving people the right information to be successful? Can you enforce accountability in people? Can you identify and verbalize when someone is doing something wrong? Can you hold yourself accountable to do what you tell others to do? (i.e. Do you practice what you preach?) Can you model behaviour you expect of others even when it’s hard? www.GhostCEO.com Yes No
