www.phmetropol.dk/gnh Metropolitan University College Learn Locally – Practice Globally The purpose of the Bachelor’s Degree in Global Nutrition and Health is to qualify the graduates to take an interdisciplinary and intercultural approach to nutrition and health challenges in a globalised world, and to work in national as well as in international settings. The educational programme qualifies the graduate to independently plan, implement and evaluate tasks, projects and interventions in order to promote health and to prevent diseases. Bachelor’s Degree in Global Nutrition and Health Type: Professional bachelor’s degree Duration: 3½ years The programme is taught in English and includes elements from natural, social, human and health sciences and is divided into 14 modules. Public Health Nutrition and Food Policy (PHNFP) focusing on food safety and security, market and consumption, sustainable food systems and environmental health, public health nutrition and the double burden of diseases Specialisations Students choose between two study programmes after the first foundation year: Public Health Nutrition and Food Policy (PHNFP) 2.
