Wireless Concepts RQ4 REFUND RECEIPT LIST Failure to comply and/or follow this process can lead to COMMISSION PENALTIES. This process exists to protect profitability for YOU and WIRELESS CONCEPTS. The following information needs to be present on EVERY RQ4 REFUND RECEIPT for an AT&T DEVICE (Phones and Aircards): 1. Type whether the return is a DOA (dead on arrival) or BRE (buyer’s remorse). Device must LOOK AS NEW, without scratches, marks, chips, etc. and be a complete kit in original packaging. If something is missing, such as a cord or manual, from the box AT&T can deny the return resulting in commission charge-backs. Each device has its own list of contents unique to that device printed on the box. 2. Type the IMEI of the handset being returned. CLARIFICATION: boxes with cut out labels are now acceptable; however, the return IMEI must be clearly printed on the box. A different box of the same model is also acceptable, but the incorrect IMEI must be crossed out (vertically and horizontally) and the return IMEI must be clearly printed on the substitute box. 3. Type the Item ID, this is the 5 digit AT&T SKU that is printed on the IMEI label or the label beneath the battery. 4. Type the Total Airtime (handsets) or Data Used (aircards). If the Total Airtime or Data Used cannot be found or retrieved from the device, please use the most current or most accurate Total Airtime or Data Used from the customer’s AT&T billing. Please remember that once the device is wiped the only way to retrieve this information is from the customer’s billing. 5. Type the Return Date of the Refund Receipt; must be within 30 days of Purchase Date. 6. Type your Location. This is the Proof of Purchase date, this MUST MATCH the same day an active SIM card is first put into a device. If the POP date doesn’t match AT&T’s activation date on their network, the device may be denied by AT&T. 9. Type the defective Symptoms of the device. If this is a BRE (buyer’s remorse), please type Other/BRE. 10. Type that the device has been Wiped. This means that the device has been factory reset and all customer information has been deleted from the device. The following information needs to be present on EVERY RQ4 REFUND RECEIPT for BLUETOOTHS, NETBOOKS, ROUTERS and BOOST KITS: 1. Type whether the return is a DOA (dead on arrival) or BRE (buyer’s remorse). Device must LOOK LIKE NEW without scratches, marks, chips, etc. and be a complete kit with original packaging. 2. Type the Item and Model of the device being returned. Must match the device on the purchase and return receipts. 3. Type the Return Date, must be within 30 days of the Purchase Date. 4. Type the Purchase Date. 5. Type what is wrong with the device after replicating the problem in front of the customer. AT&T Return Tag - Dealers The AT&T Return Tag should be completed for each handset returned to AT&T. The Return Tag should be completed while the customer is still in your store. Wrap the completed AT&T Return Tag and proof of purchase (where required) around each returned device and secure with a rubber band. -Detailed instructions for completing an AT&T Return Tag are listed below. -A copy of the Return Tag is attached. The AT&T Return Tag cannot be ordered through AT&T’s collateral center (Imaging Technology), nor will it be provided in the supplies provided your location by AT&T. Print, photocopy and cut the labels displayed on page 3 of this document when you need AT&T Return Tags. Select the Return Reason by marking the appropriate box (DOA, OBF, or BRE). Section 2. Enter the IMEI (15 digits) in the IMEI field. Be sure to enter the IMEI, not the hexadecimal number. Do not include any prefixes or suffixes such as 22S. i. Enter the Item ID, this is the 5 digit AT&T SKU that is printed on the IMEI label. ii. Enter the Total Airtime (handsets) or Data Used (aircards) in the Total Airtime field. If the Total Airtime or Data Used cannot be found or retrieved from the device, please use the most current or most accurate Total Airtime or Data Used from the customer’s AT&T billing. Section 5. Select the Warranty Status of the device the customer is returning or exchanging. All returns to AT&T should be in-warranty. i. Check the Warranty Box. Check this everytime! ii. Enter the Proof of Purchase date in the POP Date field for BRE or DOA returns; this MUST MATCH the same day an active SIM card is first put into a device. If the POP date doesn’t match AT&T’s activation date on their network, the device may be denied by AT&T.
