1. Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 1:00 P.M., held in the SSF council office and chaired by
Ali Nasseri.

a. Central – A. Nasseri presents the Central meeting at Newham to have been a success.
b. Project Update – i3 project to being run by IT department in regards to updating
student blackboard and SIRIS accounts and services
c. Looking Ahead – Seeking a way to collaborate with Student Services for Orientation
and Frosh to help create a better experience for students

7. Members Reports
a. International Report
R. Dhaliwal will be meeting with Maxfield Louis and all campus International Student
coordinators at Newham to discuss the services Seneca provides for international
students in relation to other colleges
b. Clubs Report
L. Monroy has received a reimbursment request from the G-Club. L. Monroy and Cindy
Lou are planning a meeting with all Club Coordinators to discuss transitioning ideas.
c. Programmers Report
A. Nasseri reports the newsletter to be a success. Event ideas broad is great, keep up
the input. Upcoming events are Billiards and Movie Monday and Game Day Wednesday.
8. Business
a. Central Meeting News
i. Student Centre looking to provide health care for international students via
health clinics
ii. Parking Update- M. Louis looking to improve service.
iii. COCA Conference June 19th – 25th ; A. Nasseri will be away
iv. Dates available for smart serve, public speaking and first aid training are August
21st, 22nd, and 23rd
v. Tenetative plans for a viral Seneca Student Federation Service promotions video.
vi. Canada’s Wonderland trip has been confirmed along with Wild water kingdome.
Budget to be confirmed.
b. Alzehiemers Project Update
Project is a confirmed go ahead
c. Student Centre Proposal Update

Areas in the Games/REC area that are now blue will be painted Seneca Red
Light grey areas will be painted another shade of grey
There will be a sign produced for the Seneca Student Federation office.
Flooring plans are undecided. A larger budget is required to handle situation.
d. Orientation Update
Dates are set for August 27th, 28th, and 29th 2013
e. Orientation / Frosh
A. Nasseri informs that the ‘Mentalist’ and Comedian Graham Kay will be booked for events.
Seneca Student Federation will have a presence on stage during orientation welcome
sessions. There will also be a table set up in the Seneca village from 10:00 A.M to 2:00 P.M.
No decisions will be made before it has been reported to council.
f. Ideas
A. Nasseri suggest that ideas be discussed after Coca Conference for optimal discussion.
9. Managers Report
i. Met with Vince from facilities to discuss renovations.
ii. Quotes for new tents have also been presented.
iii. Bar is open for accommodations and booking
iv. Getting files ready for audit and will be out of office more often.

a. SSF Council and staff requested to keep attire professional; please wear Seneca
and/or SSF Swag during office hours
