*Call to Worship:
Isaiah 40:28-31
Pastor: Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his
understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases
the power of the weak.
People: Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but
those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings
like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

“Ancient Words”
Holy words long preserved for our walk in this world;
They resound with God's own heart, O, let the ancient words impart;
Words of life, words of hope, give us strength, help us cope;
In this world where'er we roam, ancient words will guide us home.
Chorus: Ancient words, ever true, changing me, changing you;
We have come with open hearts, O let the ancient words impart.
#283:1, 2, 4(R)
GIVING TO GOD WITH THANKSGIVING

Holy words of our faith handed down to this age,
came to us through sacrifice; O, heed the faithful words of Christ.
Holy words long preserved for our walk in this world;
They resound with God's own heart, O, let the ancient words impart.
Chorus (2X)
Ending: We have come with open hearts,
O let the ancient words impart.
O let the ancient words impart.

THANKS
Thank you for the many cards and expressions of encouragement I received for my 98th birthday.
Thank you also for the many visits and notes I receive all year through. “O magnify the Lord with
me, and let us exalt his name together.” Ps. 34:3.
--Dorothy De Ronde
We would like to thank all of the ushers, inside greeters, outside greeters and valet parking
attendants who served in 2015. We appreciate your work to welcome people to our services.

SYMPATHY
We express our Christian sympathy to Bernice Veldhuizen whose sister, Wilma Beekhuizen, passed
away early Monday morning in Pella. Her funeral was held Friday at Third Reformed Church in
Pella. May Bernice and the family feel God’s comfort through His Word & Spirit.
