UPI Graduate Programme
Graduate recruitment in UniversalPegasus is a highly successful annual campaign, which allows the right individual the opportunity to develop as a professional engineer with
UniversalPegasus.
The Graduate and Chartership Training Programme is a training and development framework which has been designed to support our graduates to achieve Chartered
Engineer status and at the same time develop personalised training plans to support their personal and professional development.
This programme, based in Aberdeen UK, provides access to a range of environments, training and development opportunities which includes:
Coaching and Mentoring support
On the job training
Exposure to a variety of engineering disciplines and projects
The opportunity to work on projects within key global oil and gas areas such as North
Sea, Mediterranean, Africa, Middle East, Gulf of Mexico and South America
Company paid membership for one professional institute
The Programme is designed to last approximately 4-6 years and consists of the following:
3 month enrolment period
18 month training period
Additional 2 – 4 (approximate) years to achieve chartered status.
Qualifications/Requirements
Honours Degree with a minimum of 2:1 in any of the following: o mechanical engineering o civil/structural engineering o naval architecture
o chemical engineering o metallurgy o offshore technology related
The ideal candidate must be computer literate with a range of office software products e.g. MS Word & Excel
Work experience/placement in Oil and Gas industry or similar would be beneficial but is not necessary
Desired Characteristics
This Graduate Programme would suit any recent or prospective graduate who is ambitious and interested in becoming a Chartered Engineer. In addition, the ideal candidate would also possess the following characteristics:
Able to work effectively as part of a team and independently using own initiative
