BSU Academic Resources Committee (ARC) shall determine student resource needs,
faculty and support staff resource needs, and program administration needs as well as
resource and space utilization, i.e. space, equipment, library, software, laboratory, and
clinical facilities.
NTC ARC: review scope of resources…faculty, adjuncts, funding, differential tuition,
clinical sites, library, technology.

Section 3.
Academic Resources Committee shall determine student resource needs, faculty and
support staff resource needs, program administration needs as well as resource and
space utilization, i.e. space, equipment, library, software, laboratory, and clinical
facilities.
The Committee shall:
A. Guide and assist both students and faculty in the development and use of
educational resource materials which will support the objectives of the
curriculum.
B. Periodically review library and educational materials and make recommendations
for changes, priorities, and improvements.
C. Review resources policies and procedures and make recommendations.
D. Review space and make recommendations.
E. Review practicum needs and resources and make recommendations.
F. Review and revise the resources sections of the Departmental Resource Manual
on an annual basis.

CCNE Standard II: Program Quality:
Institutional Commitment and Resources
II-A. Fiscal and physical resources are
sufficient to enable the program to fulfill its
mission, goals, and expected outcomes.
Adequacy of resources is reviewed periodically
and resources are modified as needed.
Measure: Department Budget, Grants: when
applicable.
Details: Review of needs in relation to budget,
budget reviews with Dean of School of
Nursing, Budget reports. Target: The dept.
budget is adequate to conduct department
functions/needs, and appropriate to university
resources.
Measure: Faculty participation in budget
process, campus wide meetings, IFO contract,
Department by-laws (ARC, Curriculum, and
SAP). Target: Faculty participate in planning
and allocation of budgetary resources via
committee work at the dept. level and campus
wide meetings for overall University budget
