Calvary Chapel
Marriage Retreat
April 17-19, 2015
WinShape Retreat
Why You Need a
Marriage Retreat
Jobs, kids, and life have a way of overwhelming a marriage. Before you know it, other
things are taking priority above what's most
important: your spouse and family. Calvary
Chapel’s 2015 Marriage Retreat at the beautiful, relaxing WinShape Retreat center in
Rome, GA, is your chance to make a change.
Get Over the Excuses! We’ve all
got them — here are a few of
the most popular ones:
-Who has the time? How did
you spend last weekend? Which
part contributed to the long-term success of
your marriage and family?
-Our marriage is OK. Why settle for just “average” when your marriage could be transformed into a passionate relationship with
eternal impact?
-We don’t have the money. Money follows
our priorities and reveals them (Matt. 6:21).
We offer an extended payment plan to help
as well!
-Who will watch the kids? Who is likely to
benefit most from you and your spouse getting intentional about your family plan and
purpose? Your children. So get creative about
child care.
This Marriage Retreat is designed to give you
and your spouse a brief but meaningful time
away from the cares of life to strengthen your
relationship with each other and with God.
Whether you need a “tune-up” or just some
“fun in the Son,” this retreat will recharge
your relationship batteries and provide opportunities to get to know other couples.
Agenda
Meet the Speakers
Thursday, April 16
This year we welcome to our Marriage
Retreat, pastor and author Barry Stagner
from Calvary Chapel Tustin, in Tustin, California.
Friday, April 17
A native of Southern
California, Barry was
born into a Christian
home, but in his midteens involved himself in the drug and
alcohol culture of the
day and began a cycle
of destructive living that would consume
the next decade of his life. Married at 20
to his beautiful wife Teri, the abuse and
drunkenness drove the young couple to
separation and to the filing of divorce papers. God, however, had another plan.
