This was a free program offered to students for the purpose of learning more about diverse career opportunities in the accounting profession, to discover the advantages of the CPA designation, as well as gain exposure to a college environment. Students received valuable information from senior Temple accounting students and interacted with professionals working in the field who shared life experiences and current career opportunities. The BCIT Department has three levels of accounting instruction at the high school. Students may also earn college credit while taking the Accounting 2 and Accounting 3 courses through a partnership with Gwynedd Mercy University as a Dual Enrollment Program. Though there is a fee to GMU for these credits, the college credits earned are transferable to other colleges and universities. (All interviews and photo opportunities with students and/or employees should be arranged in advance with the Community Relations Coordinator.)
