Transportation Information and Guidelines The Bull Runner transit system, provides transportation for USF students, faculty, and staff throughout campus and designated locations off campus. Routes, operating schedules, and maps are available on USF’s Parking & Transportation Services website (usf.edu/parking). Service times may vary depending on special needs and situations along the route. Please refer to the website for current information and holiday schedules. All visitors or individuals doing business on campus are welcome to use the system with a USF Bull Runner daily bus pass, which can be acquired at either Parking and Transportation Services office or from pay-by-space receipts. Riders may be denied access to the Bull Runner if any of the guidelines listed below are not met. Guidelines 1. USF students, faculty, and staff must have their USFCard to board a Bull Runner bus. Please present your USFCard to the driver upon boarding. Visitors must be accompanied by a USF student, faculty or staff to board the bus or have a USF Bull Runner daily bus pass. 2. Shirts and shoes are required. 3. No eating, drinking, smoking or open containers of food or drinks are allowed on the buses. 4. Only service animals for persons with disabilities are allowed on buses. All other animals are not allowed. 5. The parent or guardian is responsible for the safety and securing of any child under the age of 12 while boarding, disembarking, and riding the bus. Strollers must be folded and secured to keep the aisles clear. 6. Anyone distracting the driver from safely operating a bus may be removed from the bus. 7. When standing, passengers shall use a handrail to secure themselves. The driver will not move the bus if any passengers are standing past the white or yellow Standee Line. 8. Bull Runner routes buses are wheelchair-accessible. Anyone requiring assistance may use the lift or ramp. Drivers are required to secure all wheelchairs. If you are in a “Priority Seating” seat you may be asked to move to accommodate an individual with a disability or senior citizens. 9. Audio announcements are made at primary stops, transfer points or significant areas along the route. Anyone needing assistance with a stop location may ask the driver to notify them upon arrival at their desired bus stop. Passengers are responsible for announcing their stop, giving appropriate time for the driver to safely stop. Buses stop at designated USF Bull Runner bus stops only. 10. If you are crossing the street, wait until the bus leaves the stop or cross behind the bus. Your visibility is much greater after the bus has left the stop. Cars will not stop for the bus. 11. The Bull Runner office does not maintain a lost and found. Any items of value found on the bus are turned in to the University Police (813-974-2628).
