Susan Pepperdine is a University of Missouri journalism graduate who has held management positions with Hallmark Cards,
Kansas City Power & Light and two major advertising agencies, most recently as vice president of public relations. In 1992 she
founded Pepperdine & Associates. Susan has extensive background in public relations, corporate communications and
marketing, including providing services to local, regional and national clients in fields such as retail, manufacturing, public utilities, pharmaceuticals, agribusiness, direct marketing and real estate development.
Pepperdine & Associates also offers the design services of Cheryl Davis, a visual communications graduate of the University of
Kansas. Her experience in graphic design, art direction and project management includes positions at Hallmark Cards as a
graphic designer in Sales Promotion and Marketing. She managed 30 designers and production artists producing 2,000 pages of
sales materials annually. In 1993 she launched her own graphics business, c davis creative, and has produced logos and marketing materials for local and national businesses.

Stanley Mining Goes for Gold in Africa

since 1995 Stanley Mining Services has been
contributing to the mine’s growth and success.
Stanley Mining had been invited by
Ashanti Exploration to come to Tanzania
from West Africa to undertake exploration drilling in the Geita area. After

established by 1996.

Meeting the Highest Standards
As one of the largest contractors on site,
Stanley Mining has been involved in all of
the clients’ NOSA, ISO 14001 audits and
various inter-company audits.
In 2001 the site became the first mine in
East Africa to be audited by NOSA (National
Occupational Safety Association), and was
one of the first ever to be graded as a 4 Star
Platinum Mine for the combined Health,
Safety and Environmental Integrated NOSA
Audit. The same year the site also obtained
its ISO1 4001 registration on the Australian
and New Zealand ISO1 4001 Environmental
Management System.
