Poetry – “ far cry from Africa” – Derek walcot – reading/ critical appreciation + writing+ compose a poem or couplets on different themes arising out of the poem [ example – trauma, patriotism, agony, love, pain, hurt, confusion etc.,]

2 short stories – [ Toba Tek Singh- Khushwant Singh &Dusk—H.H.Munro] followed by reading / speaking and writing
