MakeLunch Job Vacancies We’re recruiting! Following some new funding, we’re really excited to be able to recruit two new members of staff to join the MakeLunch team. MakeLunch is a young charity, in a very exciting period of early growth. Our aim is to mobilise the church across the UK to provide meals during school holidays for children from low income families, typically those who rely on free school meals during term time. We’ll be looking for two people who are passionate about poverty alleviation. Operations Manager Employment Status: Reporting to: Salary: Hours: Holiday Entitlement: Employed, working from home. Director £25,000 pro rata 16 hours per week 20 working days per year pro rata, plus bank holidays Key Responsibilities 1) Formalise and further establish the MakeLunch franchise 2) Develop the franchise package to ensure we offer a good service to our partner churches 3) Develop a re-franchise incentive package which maintains the high level of support and service 4) Implement a franchise auditing process to oversee continued good practice in our Kitchens The Operations Manager will work from home to the equivalent of 2 days per week. Regional Network Co-ordinator Employment Status: Reporting to: Salary: Hours: Holiday Entitlement: Employed, working from home. National Development Manager £22,000 pro rata 16 hours per week 20 working days per year pro rata, plus bank holidays Key Responsibilities The Regional Network Co-ordinator will be based in the north of England, focussing specifically on establishing new Kitchens in that area. Responsibilities include; 1) Respond to enquiries from churches and follow the process through to training and set up of new Kitchens 2) Deliver information days and training to new Lunch Kitchens and support the teams during their initial starting phase 3) Maintain the regional network of Lunch Kitchens, supporting volunteer teams and collecting data 4) Handle regional media enquiries The Regional Network Co-ordinator will work from home to the equivalent of 2 days per week. The role will include some evening and weekend bookings, with time off given in lieu.
