D ean place, foundi the badly decayed
remains of a man lying in the P ulling
Woods’, about tw o and a half m iles
east of W appingers Falls. 'Van Voor­
his w a s out gunning and came upon
the body b y accident. H e rode into the
village and told of his discovery. Cororner Bevier w a s notified and after
his arrival upon the scene h e sent "Qndertaker Thom as J. Cashin out for the
body and it w a s brought to the village
about seven o’clock.
It*proved* to be -that of a m an of
m edium height. It had been dressed in
a black diagonal suit, a black derby
h at and a pair of new congress gaiters.
The rem ains had evidently la in in the
spot Where they were found, for se v ­
eral months, for the flesh had entirely
left the head except a lltle of th e scalp
containing a fe w black haii-S!.
