Resolution Approving Services Agreement
WHEREAS, the Board of Education of the Pickerington Local School District (the “Board”) and the
Governing Authority of the Pickerington Community School (the “School”) are parties to a Community
School Sponsorship Contract (the “Contract’) establishing the School as a conversion-type community
school pursuant to chapter 3314 of the Ohio Revised Code; and
WHEREAS, the Board and the School desire to enter into an Agreement for the Provision of Services,
attached hereto as Exhibit A (the “Services Agreement”), pursuant to which the Board will provide the
School with various services, the School will make payments to the Board, and the parties may jointly
establish and operate programs;
NOW, THEREFORE, in view of all of the circumstances recited above and after consideration of all
the available information, the Governing Authority of the Pickerington Local School District hereby
approves the Services Agreement and authorizes its execution.

A. An Application for Graduate Program of Studies has been received from Melissa Elam, Intervention
Specialist at Toll Gate Middle School who wishes to pursue a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and
Instruction from Ohio University.
B. The Pickerington High School Central Girls Cross Country Team took an overnight trip to Hocking Hills,
August 5-6, 2013. No district funds were used to fund this trip.

It is hereby certified that the Pickerington School District Board of Education, Fairfield County, Ohio, has
sufficient funds to meet the contract agreement, obligation, payment or expenditure for the above, and has
in effect for the remainder of the fiscal year and succeeding fiscal year the authorization to levy taxes which,
when combined with the estimated revenue from all other sources available to the district at the time of
certification, are sufficient to provide operating revenues necessary to enable the district to operate an
adequate educational program on all days set forth in its adopted school calendar for the current fiscal year
and for a number of days in the succeeding fiscal year equal to the number of days instruction was or is
scheduled for the current fiscal year.
