Morrisby Guidance Service from Youth Connexions What is Morrisby? The Morrisby Guidance Service (MGS) aids the process of making careers and educational choices by providing an objective statement of a person’s underlying abilities, personality and career preferences. This is based on a comprehensive set of paper and pencil tests: the Morrisby Profile (MP) and a Morrisby Careers Questionnaire (MCQ). Morrisby measures potential rather than simply academic attainment. Its key focus is on what type rather than how much ability the student has, and how the student likes to put abilities to use.
